Good college don't over think come and join in my college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My college is an affiliated college so it is more secure to study there. University is Kalam technological University (KTU). They are providing B tech, M tech, MCA, PhD, and also many other courses. Near by my college there is M A international School affiliated to CBSE.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placements and all good every year there are at least 300 campus placement are providing. Internship we have to do from outside with in our course time.

College Events :

Mainly two events - Takshak ( tech fest), Sanskriti (art fest) and also other small small event and social activities such as activities under National service scheme are also providing in my college. Takshak is condecting in pdd semester and sanskriti in even semester.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For merit students it is maximum 10000 per year, other students it is about 500000 I think so. Additionally hostel fees will be there for students who stay at hostel it is different for different year of students since each year students are placed in different hostel. In my year hostel fee is 4500 per month.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, I have opted a scholarship. Which was availed for me through college itself. I fill forms which was necessary for getting scholarship, and submited in my college office. They inform me about the details and status of that scholarship regularly at last I availed money.

Campus Life :

Yes good facilities for extra Caricular activities. There are swimming pool, grounds, gym, good laboratories, workshops, libraries, basketball court, tennis court etc for improving our skills. And also they are providing Civil service coaching for those who needs that, for which there is extra fees in each year.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, I am a hostel student. In each year hostel fees are different since the quality of hostel are different for different year of students. Second year students are provided with their New hostel which is the more Costlier than others and it cost 4500 per month ( including food). Any way it is the best hostel I have stayed till now. Cleaning and all done by two ladies in their perfect way. Cooking food is in a separate place from our rooms. So eating food amd rooms don't get mess up.

Hostel Fee : INR 60000 per yearExternal Expense : Rs. 2000 - Rs. 4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Tes they are helpful in many aspects. They give ideas regarding the course, graduation, they support both mentally and physically for all the events conducting with in the college amd also outside the college. So they are that much supportive.

Admission :

I wrote KEAM entrance exam in april 2019 which was the criteria for getting admission in my college. In that exam I secured a good grade, so I opted my college as fourth in my allotment entry unfortunately the other three colleges where not alloweded for me because of my rank. As a result of that I secured admission in MACE Kothamangalam. Now I am a favourite part of my college I love my college. But at present because pf covid 19 issue I have to be in my home, so I am missing my college and also I am sadly saying that at present our two and a half months of college days are taken by this COVID 19.

Faculty :

Very good facilities. There are well equiped Laboratories, workshops, gym, swimming pool, grounds, library, moreover their teachers are outstanding. They have more power to make us a worthey product to the nation, they suppert us in their maximum extend so I love my college.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
