Remarks :

I am a student of west Bengal. I decided to study biotechnology after completing Higher secondary exam. I searched at Google. Ask my teachers and relatives for which college will be good for this stream. They all said this is good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My stream is biotechnology. Here all subjects are same as other stream read on first year means for first year, all subjects are same for all stream belonging this institute. After completing first year you will be able to study your stream related subjects.

Placement Experience :

After completing B Tech course you will get a chance for sitting on placement. Here is a criterion for it. 6.75 ygpa is mandatory for it. If you want job on multinational companies then it will possible. But core related companies come here very little.

College Events :

Here always something happens like a program or a lecture event at seminar room. A annual program named heritage utsav, which is one of the famous College festival of Kolkata. Here games, story writing competition, drama,dance etc program held at the time of heritage utsav.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

If your family income is below 2.5 Laks in Indian rupees then you are eligible for applying scholarship. For it you may take a income certificate proof from BDO, SDO, municipal corporation officer. Then write a letter for applying scholarship. After 2 week it Will approved and you get a 100% free scholarship.

Campus Life :

This institute is famous for it. Here almost 10 to 20 clubs are take place. From it NSS and Rotaract are two clubs which are for helping poor people. Pravasna for photography, Ghongroo for dancing etc. Sudoku solving, puzzle games, craft works all these are newly added.

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior are very helpful. At the time of admission orientation program was held for 2 days. At that time they came and asked us about the good or bad things about this college. When we face some problems we ask them about it and they always come to help us.

Admission :

At first one should sit for wbjee or jee main exam. Then,it is mandatory that your rank is under 20k. Then you should do counciling with perfection so that you get a chance for getting this college. By this process you will get a chance to come to this institute.

Faculty :

For my stream, our faculty are very polite and very helpful. They send notes, ppt,word file,lab work manual etc within right time . They come on time sometimes they come before time. They take extra class if they are free at that time.

Placement Experience:

From fourth year onwards you are eligible for campus placements. Companies which visited in our colleges are Amazon , Syska , TATA etc. Almost of about 70 percent students are placed . Look if you will not study then you will not get job . College will give you opertunity not only once twice thrice many times but you have to prove your skills then only company will give you job. My plans after getting degree to get job and live happily . All the best .

I love my college. But It would have been better if the fees were lower. It does not charge any late fees if you are late in depositing the fees. Colleges help tremendously for a variety of scholarship applications.
