Remarks :

Very good college. Helpful teacher faculty. Training and placement cell is very helpful. Extra classes are taken to grow skill sets of students and mock tests before placements really help us. The college always try to make strong our individual strength.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course was very good and up to the mark. They generally followed the syllabus of West Bengal University technology proposed syllabus. I mentioned it when I studied. There were 8 semesters there. And exam structure was very good.

Placement Experience :

The placement is really good in our college. Almost 100% students were placed. Our placement cell was really helpful and supportive. They were always ready to fill up any gap or to uplift skill set and tried to transform us from campus life to corporate life.

College Events :

All the events were celebrated in our college 15 th August, 23 rd January, 26 th January, 25 th December, durga puja, diwali, rangoli, viswakarma puja all festivals. Besides this every year college used to celebrate their cultural fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees structure was normal when I studied in this college. But 1st year (first and second) semester college charged a little bit high fee. But later when fee was proposed by West Bengal University technology after that they charged proposed semester fee.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes college offer loan facilities. I studied through out 4 years that means eight semester ( first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth) using loan facilities. At the time of paying fees I needed to bring demand draft from bank and needed to submit it in the college. Besides this college offers scholarship for studying abroad.

Campus Life :

Lab is very good and well maintained. Labs are equipped with adequate machines, ics and the necessary items which are generally used for day to day actives like lab experiments. For programming language lab we have separate computer machines. Sports are ground is also very nice. We have basket ball ground, cricket ground, football ground and also we have mini golf zone.

Hostel Facilities :

I did not opt college hostel because I felt that it was a little bit expensive for me. But this is purely my personal view. But I visited college hostels and found that rooms were really big in size. Neat and clean. All modern amenities were there. And food was really awesome and higenic.

External Expense : Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes alumni network is very helpful. They always tried to find new opportunities for us. We the students of heritage generally feels like a family. They just treat us family members. To connect each other we have dedicated websites.

Admission :

First I needed to qualify wbjee. Then on the basics of wbjee result, wbjee result was published. I needed to attend counseling process which was held in YBK stadium. Then I select Heritage. After that along with rank card I went to college and got admission to this college.

Faculty :

The faculty was very helpful. They always encouraged us. At the time of classroom training they always tried to implement theory class into practical. They always provided real life example. For that reason it was very helpful to us.

Hardship ends someday after Placements.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement after the 6th semester onwards.A total of 98 companies visited our college out of which they offered 120 offers and 86 students applied for placements out of which 78 are selected in the CSE branch. The selection was 90 percent. Average pay was 4-5LPA and the highest was 25LPA CTC in India. After getting my degree i planned for higher studies and placement in a MNC.

Remarks:

Nothing is perfect in the whole universe. There were loopholes in the college administration and there were a few, not-so-good guys, who did mistreat with students but thanks to the higher authorities, those were never a permanent issue.
