Remarks :

To get admission in the college you have to attain a certain rank in IPU CET. After the entrance, the counselling is conducting on the main campus and you are given choices according to your ranks. The reason for me to choose this college is that it is a few colleges affiliated by GGSIPU which have Electrical engineering. The campus is decent and placement is good, even in this lockdown the college is trying to conduct online placement drive as much as it can.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculty: Student ratio is good, student number in this course isn't that high itself like only 26 students in final year and even lesser in juniors. So for them, the faculty of just electrical engineering is enough, like for different departments of engineering the faculty is different so it isn't like the same faculty is teaching CSE and same is teaching Electrical. So 7 8 faculty for 26 students is a good ratio. The faculty teaching the course are mostly PhD or pursuing their PhD side by side. They are always helpful and listen to students and try to clear their doubts as quickly as they can and are always there when students need their help. Teaching methods are also very good as they try to give as simple and real-world example or implication of anything they are teaching.

Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience :

6th sem students can sit in some placement drives but from 7th sem students can sit in any placement drives and also college keeps you updated with all the placement drive by sending students to mail to take part in placements that are to be conducted. Byjus, Jaro, TCS are the name of the few companies but a lot more companies are coming to get students placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are fixed by the University itself, so in the last 4 years there wasn't any fee hike and 1lakh / annum is the fees for the course ( plus-minus 5000 10000). Scholarship programs are offered by Delhi govt. Itself like the merit cum means financial assistance scheme and 1 or 2 extra and they are actually very beneficial scholarship or scheme and in this college, you are eligible to get that scheme. But there isn't any job on campus with a stipend, you can look for part-time or can look for a full-time internship with a stipend and the college will let you do the internship.

Campus Life :

Zest is the annual fest of the college and is mostly conducted in September October. Most of Books and journals that students require is mostly available in the library. There are 2 libraries in the college, 1 for engineering only, so the availability of books and journals is much of a problem. Classrooms are nice, as they are air-conditioned and have projectors. There is a basketball court and badminton court and the college takes part in annual sports meet of the University. There are few social groups which are run by students.

Placement Experience:

The 6 semester student becomes eligible for the campus placement. TCS , Infosys,zomato , swiggy , cognizant these are the some companies that come for the placements. The highest packege is of 54 lakh while the lowest is of 3 lakh About 92 percent student get placement every year . I'm also looking forward for a better placement opportunity from college after the completion of the degree.
