I am student studying in the 3rd sem

Remarks :

Positive *it's in manipal and surrounded by a lot of colleges *lot of people to mingle with and learn new new things *lot of college clubs for photography, drama, music, sports, cinematography and etc. *pretty small place everything is near by you just need a cycle to go from one place to another it's that close Negative *drugs are one thing which is easily available *any student can enter any pub or bar no matter what there age is. *gets toooo hot during the summer and rains too much during rainy days

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is wonderful if you are person who is willing to work. Each sem we get to learn new subject like radio, viscom, reporting, how to print a newspaper and etc. The exam happens twice there will be one Sesionals for 25 marks and the other 25 will be an assignment the rest 50 will be the main exam this is same for both the semester.

Placement Experience :

Yes placements are very good a lot of companies come to our College like Biju's, Viacom, Wizcraft and many more. They do provide interships, you can be an intern for the college or the faculty will get you an intership according to your portfolio.

College Events :

There are lot of events happening in our college. Most of the are fests and campaign's. We have article 19 it's a three day event then there is pro verb a debate fest mostly for this event we invite colleges from manipal ans outside manipal to participate in the debate.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am not sure that our college gives scholarship or any loan facilities, actually loan facilities are given by bank these days. I am a normal student who is paying fees yearly. Should search in the college page if your seeking for scholarship.

Alumni/Alumna :

As far as I know, there is a photographer named navaneeth unnikrishnan who is the best astro photographer in India ryt now he is an alumni from our college, I wish I knew him personally. There are directors, and an actress from malayalm industry has studied here too.

Admission :

So I applied online for the entrance exam. The process is very simple just google mic entrance application take the first link and apply for the MET entrance test. And you have to pay a certain amount for the exam and you will be given a center for the exam. And you can write the exam twice if you not happy with your first try.

Faculty :

They are too caring and serious about students character and career, and they try their level best to complete the course and then try to interpret with entrance questions, they are very regular towards class attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

Psychology course curriculum is great. It's interesting and informational and you also get practical learning Optional English i regret choosing because it's not what i expected it to be. There's a lot of reading to be done and you have to be regular. the teachers don't really do a good job of making the subject interesting. there's 2 sets of exams mid sem is 25 marks end sem is 60 difficulty level - easy-medium

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a bachelor of arts degree in criminology, psychology and english optional. The branches of criminology and psychology are upcoming in India in the present time. Course taught is revelant and in present. It is regularly updated. I chose tge course mainly due to criminology. Various aspects of the subject is covered in 6 semesters such as forensic, ballistics, cyber, laws, victimology etc. They do take us on field visits. There is one mid sem exam and one final exam. There is record work as well as assignments given at regular interval. The difficulty level is medium.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college and it is headed by an associate professor. The students from the 1st to 6th semester are getting placed. Recently we had companies like Wipley, Optum, Toyota, Wipro, etc. The highest package is 7 lakh and the average package is around 3-4 lakh per year. I have planned to go for government jobs after my graduation.

I got admission in the college by filling the admission registration form which is available online on the college's website. The admissions are completely based on the marks you score in the CBSE 12th examination.

Remarks:

It has it's ups and downs, but it's easy to ignore the negative points and just enjoy the positives if you really want to. There is a lot of politics on campus that can be quite frustrating sometimes, but I think that's the case everywhere.
