  • Campus could have been better, it's kinda conjusted

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Curriculum of the course is decent just like any other college in India but I think you got an advantage in this college that there's only 25% theory and 75% practicals, you don't have any useless subjects like language. Talking about how it prepares us for real world applications, it does nothing really can't blame the college, it is like this everywhere, The industry keeps updating but the teaching methods are ancient.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I had to pay 2.45L every year, all the other fee gets covered in this... Not sure how much my juniors had to pay but there was a increase in the tuition.. there's no scholarship for general category but if you're a kokani speaking student you get scholarship and you should probably check out few schemes that is there for students who studied under any pu college under mahe for eg. SAGES

Campus Life :

There will be fests throughout the year so if you're a social person good for you. Campus Life is pretty chill and peaceful won't be like you're typical Indian college. People here are pretty friendly too and easily approachable

Admission :

I did not apply to any other colleges, I applied to this college in particular cause of 2 reasons. One. Udupi is my hometown. Two. It has good ranking, three. Less theory so more focus on the subject.

Faculty :

The faculty are very approachable, you can literally go out on trips with them. Contact them at any time of the day, they'd respond... They are very friendly. Talking about exams our course doesn't have a lot of written exams except in the first year that too around 2 written exams we'll have.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For Literature, I would say that the couses are apt for study and are comprehensive in nature to advancing per year or per sem even. As for Animation, it is not so much the same. Until my 3rd year, I felt as though I was studying things that were behind on the times. Especially the theory for animation which were given in PDF forms and in writting at times. As a very technical course, this should be such as it is

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements right after there 5th semester. There's 100% job opportunity and big companies like Technicolor and Xcentrix offer placements. The average starting salary is 25k - 35k depending on your previous internships, whether you have done multiple interships and how much you were getting. 100% of the students got placements. After I get my degree I will be working in visual effects companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I completed my bachelor's degree in B. Voc Digital Media and Animation. I chose this course because the syllabus and curriculum were creative and met the industry standards. The lectures and exams were made in such a way that the students gain more knowledge and experience rather than just being a bookworm. The quality of teaching is overall good and the teachers are very supportive, helpful and friendly. The newly modified syllabus meets the industry expectations. The department provides opportunities to participate in various workshops, seminars, conferences, guest lectures, and industrial visits that are really useful for students. The student association is encouraged to host several department festivals like Meraki, Jigsaw, etc that give great experience and learning.
