Remarks :

This college is run by MA college association.They are well supportive for students.They always tries to do what ever students and faculties needed.They always keep an eye on developing infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Our course duration is 4 year comprising 8 semesters.Each year consist of 2 semester.There is 6 subjects per semester except at first year.In first year there is 10 subjects.All the subjects taught are practically needed.It would be very helpful for your professional career

Placement Experience :

Campus placements are done for last year students.Various companies are coming to our college to recruit talented persons.Usually all the students in computer science batch will get more than one placement.TCS is the main recruiter in our college.Comparitively less placements are for civil engineering.More than 50 percentage students are getting jobs in campus placement.

College Events :

There are two major events in our college in an year.The first one is Takshak,it is the technical fest.Takshak is a 2 day program.The other one is sanskriti.The art festival.Usually conducted in March.It is for 3 days.Both the programms are conducted by students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees were as defined by the government.At our time the tution fees were only around 9000 per year.other fees we need to pay is only exam fees.It will be around 1000 per semester.Maximum fees for a 4 year BTech couse will be around 50000. Fees can be paid directly in college.All electronic facilities are available for paying fees.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college promotes various scholarship schemes offered by the government.In our college we have a separate scholarship cell.Minority merit cum scholarship,Ezhava scholarship etc are very useful for students.I got minority scholarship for 3 year

Campus Life :

It is a mixed college.No special reservation for men or women.My campus life was awesome.Sports day was celebrated every year.The college has its own team cricket, football, vollyball etc. Individual labs are available for all subjects in all stteams

Hostel Facilities :

Yes I was in hostel.My hostel Life was awesome.The mess is run by the students.So we got the foods we like for a cheaper amount.Maximum 4000 rupees per month including room rent.The food was very tasty.we will get non veg daily.Rooms were decent.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

More than 8000 students are enrolled in mace alumini program.Their general body meetings are held every year.They always promote students by giving scholorships,free books.They tries to bring the companies to our colleges for placements.Mace alumini has chapters in different countries

Admission :

This is an aided College.90% of seats are filled through Kerala Engineering Entrance Exam and the rest 10% is management quota.Admssion process will start only after publishing Kerala engineering entrance exam.For those who need management quota need to directly apply in college

Faculty :

There is more than one staff for teaching every subject.Most of the professors have PHD from IITs and they are mid aged (around 30-40). Seperate technicians are available for handling practical classes.All faculties are well experienced in their subject.They always ensure that what they said was clear

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
