Entrance Preview :

I took various entrances. But for admission in this college i was validated through OJEE. My rank in OJEE was 8147. I took my counselling. I got synergy institute for which i declined nd took another counselling. I was given CEB. I researched over various colleges. My main focus was to get admission in Odisha. I saw rankings of various colleges under BPUT and choose this college. The admission process was very simple. All my admission process was done within an hour nd i was appointed the next day to attend first day.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Mainly college is for Btech only for various branches. The course structure is very nice. I liked it from the beginning and the faculties are the best. They not only took initiative to complete our syllabus but also gives extra knowledge for interview purposes. Regular Viva-Voce is done to keep the student prepared for the interviews.

Internships Opportunities :

One of the field where my college is lacking behind. No, my college does not provide internship. We have to go to other companies for internship.

Placement Experience :

The placement is very good provides a better job opportunity for the students 60-65 companies visit our college. And many of the companies recruit the students giving a package of 360000. Infosys hiring at least Other companies like Tech Mahindra also hire students from our college.

College Events :

There are many events which are celebrated in our college the main being Techfest. Other competitions are interested competitions which are played among various colleges. Annual function is also celebrated. Techfest is a 4 Day function in which many events are organised and every student participates in a one on other event.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is very feasible. The fees is 82500 per years. first year you have to give 103500. And exam registration fees are 1550 which are to be given every semester. The college fees is very reasonable the college is providing new modern techniques for the students in the laboratory as well as making the infrastructure best for the students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I didn't took any loan for my studies so I don't know about this but my friends the crown and they said that the loan is easily available for educational purposes.

Campus Life :

The boys are more than the number of girls. The infrastructure is very large. We are having largest workshop for Mechanical amd Automobiles. Laboratory are great. All the modern equipments are well provided. Regular competitions take place every month like robotics and debates. The college is having a great garden in the front making the environment very comfortable for the students to study.

Hostel Facilities :

As per I am concerned the hostel facility is not good the food provided is also an healthy and unhygienic the college takes 62000 rupees for the hostel and the mess. I don't think it's a value for money. A person can save much more by staying at private lodge.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure :

Labs are once in a week of 3 hours Labs r carried out till the syllabus is completed. We are provided to do 10 to 12 experiments in Each lab. Every day viva is taken. The exams are conducted under external supervisors will come from other college. Cheating strictly leads to disqualification.

Average college within the state at affordable cost and prosperous future

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because at that time I was keenly interested in Engineering drawings, architecture, construction as well as estimations and costing. Here the faculty-student ratio is approx 1:18. Almost 1/3rd of the faculty are permanent and have a doctorate and they are well experienced. Guest faculties are also from prestigious colleges holding masters and bachelors. Examinations were conducted regularly in class as well as there used to be 2 internals in a sem and one end sem exam. Questions were set by the BPUT and it was moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

College claims to provide 100% placements to its students, Students from the 7th semester can sit in placements. Many big companies come to recruit on campus every year like Amazon, Dell, Accenture, Wipro, cognizant. The HIghest package was Rs 39lpa by amazon. Profiles like data analyst, software developer, coding, data scientists etc are offered by companies. I am planning to take up an IT sector job

Honest College Review

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester onwards. Companies like Ajatus, Byjus, Wipro , Infosys offer placement opportunities in our college. The placement rate has deteriorated over the past 5 years. Earlier 50 %-80%students were placed but now only 20%-30%are placed. Earlier the highest package was 10 LPA and the average package was 4LPA. Now the rate has decreased greatly. The college still tries its best to bring companies. Earlier the placements were more of on-campus placements but now it's mostly off campus. The training and placement cell hence prepares students for the recruitment process and selects the best students and gets them placed. After getting the degree I would be applying for interviews on the technical line off-campus and side by side I would do my higher studies like M.TECH.
