This college is best for research work. Here environment is very good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course duration has 2 years (4 semester). It is combination of btech and phd. 1year you have to study 10 subjects and give written exam. And 2nd year you have to do project research work. Here placement in mtech course is moderate (like mechanical, civil engineering branch). But in btech placement is very good. Here psu company are coming to recruit btech students.
Placement Experience :
Both internship and placement is good for btech students, but mtech is moderate. Some companies like GE, L&T, KOHLER, GAIL, IOCL,etc. The recruitment is based on written exam and interviews. Sometimes group discussion is also conducted.
College Events :
Many events are conducted like nirutsuv, cosmopolitan, cultural etc In nirutsuv- inter nit sports meet conducted, cosmopolitan- art and cultural event. Some technical workshop conducted like matlab, robotics, and so on. In management various events organized like isro 100years celebration on vikram sarbhai birthday fouder of isro.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Expensive but loan support is also provide. Many banks gives study loan. Sbi bank is inside campus. In my course stipend 12400/- per month given by central government. In my course fee structure for 2 years 3 lakhs. And stipend is given for 22 month. So it is Benifical to get admission and survive here.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes mtech has 12400/-per month provided. Which is given by central government. No any procedure to get scholarship. When you have get admission in this course. You have automatically provided stipend.
Campus Life :
Here campus life good. Good labs and workshop is there. If I tell about sex ratio them boys are more than girls. Ratio may be 10:1(not confirmed). Religion not major problem. All students are good friends and respect religion of other students. Political views is not there.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes hostel support is provided. Here total 10 hostels. 7for boys, 2for girls and 1 for married students. In PG course single room provided. But in btech sharing between 2. Btech 1 year has separate hostel.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes college senior are very supportive and helpful. At starting when I came to college and met seniors, he tells about how to study here and how to clear exam.
Admission :
Through GATE score, I got admission. This Institute has better rank in Nirf data published by indian government. After gate results counseling is conducted through CCMT. CCMT is group of all nits, iiits, and central govt. institutes. I got this college in first round.
Faculty :
Behavior of faculty is good. They are more helpful and supportive for students. Here various industrial workshop are conducted. In my course mechanical engineering faculties are very supportive and experiences. If you have any problem about course, you can directly talk to faculty.
