A good college

Well, it’s a good college for Arts and science in the city. Located in the centre of the city and has all Facilities.

There are enough and well qualified faculties in all departments depending on the subjects and fields. They conduct regular CAT (class assessment tests) and model exams. At the end of the graduation we are required to submit a project report based on the internship we are required to do on particular specialisation topics. At the end of 5th semester all on going students without any arrears get a chance to sit in campus interview.

The placement is provided to all the students who don’t have any arrears. Companies like TCS, Infosys, E&Y and other small and medium companies in take students in large number. We are required to attend a viva and given a chance to explore ourselves and prepare for the placement interview or so. On an average of 70-80% of student get placed whoever sits in a campus interview.

College conducts cultural events for each and every department. The speciality here is each and every department cultural is famous and got a name in the city. They also invite all other colleges in and around the city to participate in the events. Like we have ‘Synergy’ in BBA which is vey well recognised by all other colleges. They also conduct other important religious festivals and stuffs.

Since the college is autonomous, the morning college fees structure is government imposed and is very cheap and in the evening college which is aided by madras university we have a pretty payable fees structure. It’s affordable to most of the people around. We are required to pay the fees only into the said bank account of the college. The receipt provided by the college for the fees will have a proper breakdown of the fees structure. Exam fees have to be paid separately in the said online link provided by the college management before the exam.

I haven’t availed any scholarship or loans. Heard about friends getting scholarships based on marks secured and certificates.

Well it’s a co-Ed college and has equal number of student in both genders. They conduct all sorts of activities like sports events, have proper labs for chemistry, biology and computer science. All laboratories are well maintained and in good condition.

They are always being helpful in projects completion, cultural events, sports and education, both students and faculty and alumni members.

Had to apply with forms given and they allocate the seats depending upon the merits initially. The selecting process goes like 1st call, 2nd call and final call. Well, it’s a pretty good college for arts in city. The management is doing its best to select the brightest.

Well of course, each and every department faculty head (HOD) is well qualified to manage all other department lecturers. There are about 10-15 lecturers in all departments depending upon the sections and number of students. Everyone are well qualified and trained and have an experience of more than 10 years or so.
