It's very good college for up domicile students. Specifically chemical technology course of hbti are very famous.

The other faculties are also very knowledgeable and expert in their domain. It is the only department in HBTU which has guest Faculties with 20+ year experience. It is the quality part. College Events :

HBTI is known as college of fest. It has one main cultural event odyssey, with this we have inter department fest also which includes technical and cultural events both. Name a few are Nirman, Mechwizard, Encord, zeal, tech chroma, Along with other festivals we have annual literary festival.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Its affordable, feasible and pocket friendly, living in kanpur is also not a costly affair. College has full capacity hostels and working mess. Along with various types of rented and PG accommodation available near college. Local convenience is also affordable.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, Uttar Pradesh government is offering income based scholarships to all eligible students. With this many others scholarships opportunities are also available.

Campus Life :

Campus life is fun. Gender ratio is quite low. Extracurricular activities are also good. Facilities for almost any games are available within the campus. Labs are well equipped. College having lits of society related to robotics, coading, debate and social services.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, hostel are designed beautifully but are now aloder buildings, first year and second year students have two and triple seater rooms, while third and final year have single seats hostel. Every year have separate hostel. Hostel messes are well cleaned maintained and hygienic.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

About future, you will find paint technology harcourtians in every paint related company. HBTI paint technology has a good brand value due it's alumni base. Some of their alumni’s are now MD, Business Director, VP in their respective organizations. Best of luck for your future endeavors. Contact me if further clarification required.

Admission :

Entrance Exam- Earlier it was UPSEE but now JEE mains. Then counselling, then admission. I can say hectic admission process, but worth for investment. One can get scholarships assistance too. HBTU earlier known as HBTI is one of the finest engineering college of uttar pradesh.

Faculty :

Most of the faculty are PhD, very well qualified and knowledgeable. They have well versed knowledge in their area of expertise. Faculties are indulge in research and technical writting in national and international journals. Faculties are also author of several book. Students are also doing great in these area as they have good guidance available. One group this year got the first prize for best research in a international seminar.

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is decent highest package was 30 lac per annum and average is 6-7 lac per annum....From 6th semester u are eligible for the campus placements.... companies that visited are- IBM, TCS,etc I just don't remember now there are many... percent of students getting placements are near about 80% i guess

The placement is very good in my college. From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra etc do visit my college.
