Remarks :

Reputation of the college has faced a big downfall because of the infrastructure and the corrupt faculties now it is getting it's reputation back and developing a great infrastructure and generating revenue.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is fine but it's not that latest to meet the need of current software industry. Exam are held twice every year one is called as mid sem and other is semester exam. Practical subjects are bit scoring.

Placement Experience :

Placements are not upto the mark for main stream branches like computer science, MCA and information technology but they are extremely good for the non core branches like oil, paint and plastic. College also provide internship not each but some students get stipend around 5000-10000/month

College Events :

Various technical and cultural fests are organized in the college. Confluence, agaaz etc are few fests that are organized in recent years. Annual sports meet is also organized in the college where various colleges participates. Inter branch cricket competition and various other sports competition are also organized officially. HPL is cricket tournament that is organized unofficially every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

As it is a government college so the fee structure is quite feasible as compared to other private colleges. Scholarships are also provided by the UP GOVT. That makes it more preferable over other private colleges. It is one of the finest colleges in UP after MNNIT allahabad.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship is provided by the UP GOVT to the students whose annual income is less 2 lac/anum the college also provides loan facility to the students from central bank of India, HBTU branch. And they is very less hectic process to get loan from the bank as it is in coordination with the college.

Campus Life :

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network is good as it is a 98 years old college. Alumnis are in big companies and in PSUs as well some of them owns companies and they visits the college to interact with the students and to motivate them. Senior students are very helpful to the Juniors they provide every support and guidance that juniors ask them for.

Admission :

NIMCET a national level exam is conducted every year by the coordination of 11 NITs and HBTU and admissions are given according to the rank of the students. Reservations system as per the Constitution of india is also applicable. In HBTU separate quota for girls and armed forces dependents is also applicable.

Faculty :

Faculty is superb but not all guest faculty aren't that good. Syllabus is too vast so that it can't be completed specially in odd semester. Senior professor have to attend meetings too so they are not so frequent in taking lectures.

BHU : a enriching experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of MCA in computer science department of BHU is very relevant to the current demands of the market and technology. There are several core subjects that specifies we are being studying such as DSA, Software Engineering, Vkmputer Network, Block chain technology, Imge processing and in the last semester we are provided with opportunity to go for internship. The teachers are well equipped with knowledge for their respective subjects. They are helpful as well for any subject related problems.

Placement Experience:

When you are in the third of your course, you become eligible for internship drives and in the fifth semester of your courses you are eligible for campus placement drives but no active backlogs in any paper. Almost all the MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, etc. get visited in my college placement drives. The highest Package is offered by Atlassian i.e. 82 lakh per year for the SDE role and the lowest package is 5.6 lakh by Tech Mahindra for the Tech Analyst role. In the CSE department, almost 90% of students get placement on campus placement. My plan after my degree is to work in the industry to get experience and learn new things.

Placement Experience:

PSIT placements are good as many students are placed through PSIT. The top recruiting companies of our college are Infosys, TVS, and Wipro. Almost 100%of students get an internship from PSIT In our course starting salary package offered is 2 LPA to 3 LPA and the highest package offered is 8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is excellent but it depends on the student how they are prepared on the campus MCA students are eligible to seat in placement with B.Tech students these opportunities are good for mca students. Many multinational companies are visit here for placement. 3-semester students are eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Wipro, Flipcart and many more multinationals companies are visit for campus placement. The average package is 1000000- 2000000's depending on the placement companies.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. Many companies visit the department and many students got selected in the different companies with the help of their skills which increased by the professor of this university. Approx 85 to 90% of students got selected for placement every year. I have also planned for the job and I will also get placement after my 5th semester. When I talk about the package many companies provide 10 to 15 lakh per annum.
