An institute to be honoured

Remarks :

After spending 3 full years of techieness in my institute, i could find any glitches. One will always love it when after spending a month here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was pretty fair, as it is a central govt institute so the course structure was according to government norms, technically speaking the course is 80% industry specific, speaking about on campus during our time no on campus placement were there, industry visits was there in the final year

Placement Experience :

During our time no placements were there as the institute was new, internships were only provided during the last semester. As of now some sort of placements are being provided

College Events :

The best days during each semester were the event days, we had both technical festival and cultural festival every alternate semester, i.e. technical fest is celebrated on even sem and cultural on odd sem, cultural fest includes the sports too. Namely techracy and ecstasy respectively. One can google to know more about these fests

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure during my time was very feasible, it was around 25k/year. But now due to increase in it's intake and facilities fee structure has changed. Now it's around 40% more than the previous structure. Institute is very fair in transparency regarding the same.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, the institute provide various scholarship. But i have not applied as not being suitable according to their criteria. The minimum terms and conditions was that, students from lower caste can only apply that but also there's a twist, being from a lower caste would not be enough, along with that one need be from a BPL family also.

Campus Life :

The campus life is the best according to me as i have lived, extracurricular activities are bundles in our institute, labs are well equipped with modern machinery and Technologies, cultural competition like debate, GD, quizzing, etc takes place eventually. Zero political events since it is an engineering institute. Gender ratio is around 6:4, workshops are held according to availability of the organisers.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, the hostels are very good in comparison to other state govt hostels. They have 2-3 bed rooms, each room has a wardrobe for each student, with 24×7 high speed LAN facility. If anyone wants to take a PG the monthly fees for PG would range between 5000-7000 depending on the location and facilities provided.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network and our seniors are not exactly our seniors they are like a family they were like our friends. They were always ready to help their junior ones from any sort of issues, they are the one after our mom dad who thought us to be disciplined and stable in life.

Admission :

Entrance exam are held for different courses, offline entrance was held on omr sheets. After a month of exam the announcement of results, we have to go through counseling where we have to select our respective fields, and according to the seat availability the seat was offered. The reason of me choosing this institute is because of the facilities that was available and 2nd being a cfti.

Faculty :

The faculties are well educated in their respective fields, they have more do and don'ts than students, inorder to provide a quality education. We had 5 subject each semester, comprising of 3-4 lecturers each subject every week, since it is a govt engineering institute so faculties are also well groomed and certified according to the institute requirements.

It's a fact that the Indian education system is not designed or promoted for skills sharing. But if you are in CIT the scenes are quite different. In CIT various seminars and programs related to a high balance between a curriculum and an industrial side

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choose EE because it's have both core and it features so i believe that I will go for core but if the situation changes then accordingly i will shift. The curriculum is pretty good in this campus according to me that's why I have choose this course. I don't think I have enough thinking level to suggest about that. Before exam there should be some gap for studies purpose I mean to say classes should be off. And everything is good.

Placement Experience:

Placement drives are held in December of every year for the students who complete their 7th semester. Placements are quite good over here, The highest package this year is 2.4 crore and the average package fluctuates between 20 to 25 LPA every year. One can also go for higher studies, there is no harm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My branch is Computer Science and Engineering. I am interested in computer skills like gaming, web development, coding, etc that's why I choose this course. In my college, every facility is provided like labs, sports ground and kits, medical facility, hostels and mess and, well educated and skilled faculty. Faculty : student ratio is around 1:50. Faculties are well experienced (Ph.D. holders) and have good teaching skills. But, I want to mention one thing that, you can't totally depend on the faculty, you need to pay extra effort by itself. B.Tech is of 4 years course that is divided into 8 semesters. Every semester 2 main exams are conducted. Exams are not much easy but also not too hard. You need to focus on academic too for decent pointers. If you are a sincere student then getting a good pointer is not hard.
