Remarks :
For getting every small thing done in the College you will need to follow the procedure as it is a govt institute so it has its perks and problems. But this is the best college for a students who wants to transform himself from being under confident and shy to become an amazing personality.
Course Curriculum Overview :
BSc nursing exam helds yearly, and there are three internal exam before final University exam, this is a course of 4 years. In this course, the main focus is on practical work, the more skill and ease you will have in your hand more will be you a professional.In private sector and hospital, more skills you will have more stipulation you will get.
Placement Experience :
Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Oracle, Adobe, LinkedIn, DE Shaw and many more. The recruitment process requires mostly 2-4 rounds having technical vocal and hr Rounds. Almost 90-95% students gets placed every year from IT department. The institution has a TPO ie training and placement office which provide the students with the prerequisite and mock tests to prepare them for placements and internships.
College Events :
Avishkar- technical fest. YOU CAN DO whatever you want. from making robots to cars from chemical to engines from coding contest to mind puzzling quiz contents you can do anything. Culrav- cultural fest. We have various cultural committes in our college. Garba Marathi Nepali Rajasthani Bhangra western are all the dance committes. Then we have various dramatics clubs under Alchemy - MNNIT dramatic society eg Quintessence, Darpan, Swagat etc. Renaissance- event for entrepreneurship and all. You can come and explain your idea and if you have that spark you can even get funding for your startup.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is 70000 per semester with 15000 for mess fee. Fee waviers are provided according to your annual income. Valid income certificates must be provided to avail them. The mode of payment can be demand draft, net banking and challan payment. Yes the college provides full transparency in the fee breakdown.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have opted for up scholarship. It comes every year around October - December and it is provided by state govt. The eligibility criteria is annual income and your current going CPI in the College acedemics. You can know more about it on up scholarship site.
Campus Life :
The gender ratio is about 1girl to 8 boys. The campus life is good as the campus is not that big nor too small. You will enjoy your time in the campus. While eating at jungle canteen, or playing in playground etc. There are way too many extra curricular activities going on in the College at any time. You can always see someone practising for something in the campus. Our College is the winner of IIT Kharagpur spring fest for the last two years. Labs in the College are well equipped and working conditions are good. We have got sports teams for every sports etc who participate in inter nits and various IIT's sports events. You can get to see students from every nook and corner of the country speaking different language and even students from abroad also. The College is hugely diversified with students from different religions castes and backgrounds.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes. In first year you will have big rooms with 3 person in a room. There will be one room for sleeping and one for studying. From second year the size of room starts getting smaller. You may be living 4 in a room or 2 in a room depending upon your hostels. In 3rd year you will be living 2 in a room and finally in final year you will get your own room.
Alumni/Alumna :
I met many alumni and pass out seniors. Nims is known for its research and training program which it provides to a student.Many student has cleared government exams and from last year there are three student who has cracked aiims and i also met one doing msc from.aiims
Admission :
Admission is done via an entrance exam known as JEE MAINS. You will need to clear the entrance test with quite a good score up and above 200 atleast. Then you will be allowed to sit for counselling to get your choice of College and branches which you will provide via choice filling. The seat allotment will be done on the basis of your All India Rank. The entrance exam is held twice every year in December and in April. Result will be declared in April end or May start.
Faculty :
The faculty is good. They know everything. But they may or may not be able to make you understand everything. They all are doing some research themselves and are quite busy with it so you may not get more than a classroom interaction with them. At the end of the day you yourself will have to study from various sources and prepare for exams. The age of the lectures varies between 32-60 as they all are PhD scholars.
