Remarks :

AMU provides degrees with a very little fee, our semester fee is around 3300 thousand and Hostel Fee is 11 hundred per year, Electricity Fee is 2 thousand per year, and Mess Fee is 2 thousand per month. In terms of fees, college is really very good. You don't need to worry about money here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum of this law faculty is basically designed according to the syllabus of up-PCSJ which is an individual test of upstate for the junior civil division of judges. So this faculty had always been very great in making good judges and apart from these faculty has already been provided many of the great people who are doing their best in the litigation and legal field.

Placement Experience :

The quality of placements at our college for law students is fine not good enough. But The college is really supportive of placements and the students with a CGPA above 7 can sit for placements in all the companies that visit the campus.

College Events :

Aligarh is a very diverse and complex city because of its people. Peoples are very peaceful and quite friendly towards each other and this has also influenced our college to held several cultural and seminars which can excel in the best interest of the student.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

AMU is a central university as we all know that Central Universities are directly financed by the central government. So we/students don't have to pay that much to our tuition fee. It's all has been covered by the central government. We only have to pay just 6600 rs every year but when we enrolled ourselves the university during the first year we have to pay approx 14-15000 rs at that time.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, colleges offer scholarships on the basis of the academic performances of the students. Those students who secured the first get to avail themselves of the scholarships. Apart from this students who are not that financially stable also got scholarships.

Campus Life :

Amu is located in around 467. 6 acres of area, so the campus is really big. Various College Fests are organized by the different clubs of AMU like litfest by CEC Club, Sandhan by Model Club, etc these events make college life delightful. Academic staffs and Professors are really Supportive here. College also provides medical facilities to the students, Doctor visits the college daily if you have any problem you can meet him.

Hostel Facilities :

No, the university has all the important facilities like Library, Lecture Hall, Academic building, Club Ground, Laboratories of the different departments, etc. But university hostels have their own Wi-Fi facility. Hostels have a lot of greenery and clean. Mess food quality is average but they provide a lot of potatoes.

Alumni/Alumna :

Our seniors are very friendly and they have been very polite and helpful behavior if you are interested to get help in case of your academics they will always help you.

Admission :

I prepared for national law colleges for at least 4 months and this much preparation can easily cover the syllabus of these autonomous entrances of different colleges like AMU law faculty. So I filled up the various forms of NLU'S along with the AMU law faculty because I too belong from this city. so it's very favorable for me to study in my own city and I got selected with rank 77.

Faculty :

As it's my 3rd year of graduation so we have been provided with the tentative weekly schedule throughout the year which allows us to attend our lectures accordingly. so we have 3 lectures of 50 minutes in the first three days and the last three days of the week. the quality of teaching is really good. They provide us one of the best faculty who are really knowledgeable and are always there to help students with their careers. We even have an e-library which is 24*7 accessible from any corner of the world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course of BBA LLB(H.) is a really modern course and it deals with real life problems and its solutions. As we know, that the corporate field has substantially grown and the corporate field has to be in compliance to the legal field, therefore, this course is really suitable for the persons opting aur aiming for the corporate field. The person preparing for judiciary could also opt for this course as the success rate of our university in the exam of PCS(J) for respective states is really high. There are many practical trainings given to students including various Moot Court Competitions, Debate Competitions and Internships (to be done by students themselves). The teaching is a bit old school and could be improved and could be done more effectively through the use of technology along with education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always had an interest in the field of law and I wanted to know more about my rights as well. Also, you never stop learning as there are so many laws to study, and so much new information to gather. Hence I decided to opt for this course. The average class size is 150 and as there are 5 different papers each semester, there is one faculty for each paper. The faculty is well qualified, friendly, and has good theoretical as well as practical knowledge. The teaching method is through lectures, slides, movies, online meets, guest lectures, etc. The semester exams are conducted by CCS University and to prepare the students for that, the students have to give 2 internal exams and assignments which help a lot in scoring good marks in the external exams.

I'm in the final semester, college placement process has started, we have a very good and dedicated corporate resources cell that looks after placement and internships, we were provided internships with the best NGO's in the initial years and then with Supreme court lawyers. We were also offered a stipend for a few internships so as to cover up daily expenses.

Remarks:

It is and up and coming college, very keen and enthusiastic in making a place for themselves. They However need to hire NET qualified faculty and do a better job while alloting subjects and classes. Many professors are teaching a subject in which they have no expertise. The college is very active in Mooting, organising competitions and have won many.
