Life in college

Remarks :

Cool college, never gives me an opportunity to miss my school. The students feel that the feedback they provide during their classes is not given the attention it deserves. They were also unhappy with the lack of transparency in assessment criteria or the way the assessment criteria had been explained.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course structure is quite good. Though lab sessions are quite tedious and theory exams are okay once we are prepared. There are 2 sets of internal exam, where two exams are conducted on one day thereby increasing the chances of failure.

Placement Experience :

College does have a good placement cell. They have good experts who train us for that and various companies like amazon, google. College provides internship during final year, or we can go for internship by ourselves.

College Events :

There is a cultural fest held in the college during the month of November which lasts for about two to three days and during the month of January there will be a tech fest conducted, which includes several workshops, technical and non technical events.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee is quite feasible. 1 lakh rupees should be payed as caution deposit which will be returned after four years. Then every year there will be a tuition fee of Rs. 1 lakh every year. Thus the college fee doesn't exceed 5 lakhs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The Government of Kerala has introduced various scholarships awarded to meritorious students of outstanding performance in the education sector as well as to the students of socially and economically backward categories. The online registration, management and admission of scholarships awarded by Higher Education Department of Government of Kerala would be one of the best implemented products in the e-Governance sector.

Campus Life :

The labs are good and have all the equipment that is required. Coming to sports there is huge playground where we can play volleyball basketball football throwball etc. There is indoor stadium where we can play tennis basketball and also a gym.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is six km away from the college and we have a bus plying through that route. Hostel infrastructure is good, there are thirteen floors. There are lift facilities. Rooms are shared by three people.

Alumni/Alumna :

An engaged alumni network allows the University to benefit from the skills and experience of our graduates, by offering their support to our students, to the institution and to each other. If we keep them properly informed and engaged, alumni are our most loyal supporters and our best ambassadors, offering invaluable marketing and promotion across their personal and profeesional networks

Admission :

Admission was based on the rank list and this course was the only choice left to me. While some of the above elements are beyond an applicant’s control, a shrewd candidate will consider them all in an application strategy. In fact, a successful application process involves much more than just deadlines and essays. It’s about understanding all of the mitigating factors and then planning, strategizing, and knowing which schools and application pools will maximize your chances for acceptance.

Faculty :

Teachers are also really qualified. They all are either post graduates or may have completed am tech or PhD from some recognized university. They follow a strict course plan and teach us accordingly. This makes things easier.
