Remarks :
The hostel mess is not that great. The location is a very prime one but the traffic during peak hrs is too much to bear. No Xerox shops nearby. The fees is expensive. They have a good quality auditorium.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is good it's divided into three semesters with each semester looking to develop your overall skillset and also this college happens to have refreshing periods like yoga every Thursday. The research atmosphere basically begins from the second year and the lab is as good also there are tutorials every week and exams also here and there.
Placement Experience :
Yes our college does provide internship last year CAIRN provided internship to over 6 -7 students and the stipend was from 20, 000-30, 000. And some students from petroleum also got chance to attend a petroleum meeting in Saudi Arabia and interact with world leaders for petroleum dwellers.
College Events :
Sargam is the major event celebrated every year with different themes in every year. Sargam is the college fest basically so many inter college competitions are held during the two-day sargam fest. Apart from sargam there are events celebrated on occasions like Ganesh chaturthi, Christmas, Independence day, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Well the fee as of now is expensive but they do provide the best performing students with scholarships and that's beneficiary. Annual fees would be 2, 95, 000 Rs. So it's supposed to be paid in three installments. First installment would be 1Lakh and the second one also 1Lakh Rs and the third would be 95, 000Rs.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Our college offers MhrD scholarship. The Ministry of Human Resource Development plays a significant role in the education sector of the nation. Contributing effectively to the socio-economic development of the country, the ministry functions through its two distinctive departments namely, the Department of School Education & Literacy and the Department of Higher Education. Our college gives some other scholarship also.
Campus Life :
Sports competitions are held like football, cricket and badminton. students from all colleges in Pune participate in the same. There's no issues regarding gender issues all are equal and healthy relationship is maintained. Well the male ratio is a little greater than the female ones. Political involvement is less and economic status is good.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I have opted hostel. The hostel infrastructure is not bad it is adjustable. The rooms are shared by three members and there is enough room for everyone. The food is good but not great, it can improve more. In hostel also 29000 is mess bill yearly and 25000 the donation.
Alumni/Alumna :
The college seniors are pretty helpful they tell you what to do and what not to and always tell us not to repeat the mistakes that they made in their time so its pretty chill and comfortable here and the alumni network is also pretty good here we have students from NVIDIA, ONGC, CAIRN to name a few. So it's all good and assuring.
Admission :
Through JEE mains score card. I was interested in petroleum engineering so I chose that. The admission process was based on the rankings and a minimum percentile was required for the same. I had an option in computer science also but it was over crowded in that department.
Faculty :
The faculty is quite good especially from our petroleum department. The faculty is pretty much focused on the crowd rather than a particular individual so it's all good and chill. Doubt clearing is also pretty satisfactory.
