  • The girls to boys ratio is like 1:3, 1:4 in some cases as well, there is very less diversity
  • As the intake keeps increasing per year and the campus size remains same, there is less space for parking.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is comprehensive and industry-relevant, with industry relevant subjects and compulsory projects that influenced my choice. It effectively prepares students for real-world applications and further studies. To improve, more electives and industry exposure through workshops could be added. Exams, conducted at mid semester and end semester with moderate difficulty, are well-structured and allow multiple opportunities to perform, reducing stress.

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies come with an offer of internship+pre placement offer if the student performs well in internship. 80% companies provide stipend over 10lpq and 15 lpa in lesser cases. Majority companies offer roles like data analyst intern, software developer intern, cyber security intern, customer support intern, etc. For regular companies that visit our college, check our placement statistics on vit.edu website.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible to placements from 2nd year itself, infact, companies come to our college to give summer internships for second year students. Simens, Barclays, are examples of companies that arrived in second year for our batch. Then many companies arrive in third and fourth year for internship+ PPO offers. Some companies are : HSBC, Deutsch Bank, NVDIA, Amazon. You can check out more about placement statistics and companies who visit our college on our college website vit.edu.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Course Fees: (fees are same for all branches) - Management Quota: Our college doesn't have management quota - General Category: ?197000-210000per year (may increase) - Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC): the fees remain same but scholarships are provided externally Note: The fee structure might increase beyond this --- Scholarships and Financial Aid The college provides the following scholarships: You might get scholarships externally, which are often advertised for income based parameters, if you're a girl student, etc.

Campus Life :

Campus life is vibrant, with annual festivals like Melange, Vishwotsav in first s mister of each year and technical events like vishwa-techspectra. The library is well-stocked with books and journals, offering easy access to resources. You can also get a detailed report of your research paper, it's ai content, plagiarism report through software ithencate. Library also has access to IEEE Xplore for research purposes. Classrooms are equipped with modern technology, ensuring a good learning environment. There are charging ports on each bench. Sports facilities include indoor and outdoor games, and extracurricular activities range from music and dance to debate and drama. Student-run clubs and portals foster social connections and skill development, significantly enriching campus life.

Admission :

The environment in our college is very good like, students are always participating in various hackathons, inter college competitions, industry visits, etc. This always keeps other students motivated and all the students are active one place or the other. Our club culture also helps students gain exposure to many things outside of college as well. I heard about this from other seniors so I decided to get into this college from start and this was a very good decision. I am now exposed to many different things outside college. To get into vit, you need to have minimum 95+ percentile in mht cet for computer branches and overall 90+ percentile for other branches. You need 85+ percentile in jee mains

Faculty :

The faculty is highly experienced, with many IIT alumni, and they excel in multiple subjects. The course structure is well-designed, focusing on hands-on learning with compulsory projects for each subject. Evaluation is divided into various components like theory exams, MCQs, vivas, lab exams, and assignments, ensuring multiple opportunities to score. This flexible system, combined with the institute's autonomy, makes it easier for students to perform well and reduces the chances of failure.

Night Life :

For late night activities, our college generally doesn't promote that due to safety concern for girls, no student is allowed in college after 8:00 pm and we need to take special permission if it is really necessary. But during events, the college remains open till 10:00 pm. The library, gym, and canteens closes at 6:00 pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is 8/10 . For the first year , we're focussing on science and mechanics and will shift our focus to computer science around the second year . The curriculum prepares us well for real life working conditions . Exams occur every 2 months which is enough time to prepare for it
