  • Not alot of focus on sports and games activities

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is a bit tough and vast but it is relevant and subject focused. My course (Csbs) has alot of similiar topics to gate exam which makes it easier to study for gate if someone is preparing for that. Exams are very frequent and happens every 1.5-2months.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for placements after 4th sem. Companies like tcs, wipro, adani power, hsbc usually visit here. Also, Many students go for higher education degrees from here. Highest package offered was 41lpa from Adobe in 2022-23 and average is 5.5lpa

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fees for open student is 98,250rs per year and the course is of 4 years so around 4L for the entire btech degree. Scholarships are available on merit basis for students scoring 99+/98+ percentile in mhtcet exam .

Campus Life :

The crowd and campus life is pretty chill and fun. Hostel has a few restrictions but that's for everyone's safety. It is a study oriented college and fests are pretty less here but we have 1 main fest called Meraki every year. Library has a range of books and we have i7 top specifications pcs in labs and we also have a mac lab on our floor.

Admission :

I had 93 percentile in mhtcet and had decent options to choose from. But I choose KIT since it offered Csbs degree which I wanted and the placements are pretty decent also. Exams accepted are mhtcet and jee mains and cutoffs for mhtcet was 91+ and jee was 80+ for Csbs course.

Faculty :

It is an autonomous college so the college is incharge of the curriculum. Faculty is really helpful and friendly and they go out of their way to help students. Every sem we have Midsems and endsems exams which contribute to 30 and 50 marks out of 100 while two Ise tests which are 10 marks each.

Night Life :

The hostel timings are till 9:30pm so nightlife is pretty non-existent, but there are alot of hangout places nearby and alot of food joints and gym are present in the area. Also the locality and college is pretty safe and secured.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is 8/10 . For the first year , we're focussing on science and mechanics and will shift our focus to computer science around the second year . The curriculum prepares us well for real life working conditions . Exams occur every 2 months which is enough time to prepare for it
