Remarks :

The college management is doing great. From hostel maintenance to workshop conducting and event management, everything is top class.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course Curriculum is vast. Exam Structure is basic and kind of repetitive. Course is research driven if one studies it adequately. Course curriculum is enough if one wishes to pursue the same discipline in future. Some students take the courses seriously while others maintain better grades and focus on developmental skills.

Placement Experience :

First class placements. We have 3 day placement sessions in which around 1000 job offers are given from 200+ different companies. Internship condition is also top notch. It is compulsary for all third year students to go for an internship. Students can also apply for internships in 2nd year.

College Events :

Technex is our annual technical fest in which many other colleges including most of the IITs and NITs participate. We also have few other technical events conducted by our electrical, electronics and computer science departments. Spardha is our annual sports fest in which many institutes including IITs and NITs participate. E-Summits are conducted from time to time taking enterpreneurship and business to next level. Besides this we have other less-budget fests including Vista (Conducted by photography club), Aagman (Conducted by Film and Media Council), Aakriti (Conducted by Social Service Club) etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible. It is around 120000 for a general category no income barred student. Then around 60000 for students whose parents' income is between 1LPA to 5LPA. Around 12k for students whose parents' income is less than LPA or is from reserved category (SC/ST). Around 24k is charged for mess anually and hostel fee is also included in it.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I have opted for state scholarship. Madhya Pradesh Medhavi Chhatra Yojna is a scholarship for students of Madhya Pradesh whose parents' income is under 5 LPA. We need to fill a form online, take a print of it and attach to it various required documents mentioned on its site. Then it is check thoroughly by our scholarship department of the institute and forwarded to scheme authorities for further checking. After approval, money is transferred to institute bank's account which is then given to students.

Campus Life :

Campus life is really cool. We don't have ragging here which is absolutely cool. Gender ratio is still less, around 0.2-0.3. We have beautiful campus and greenery all around. We have many grounds for different sports. Labs are old, not maintained frequently. Extracurriculars are in immense number. We have so many workshops, from singing, intrumentals to robotics and debates. We have different societies, literature clubs, arts club, film and media council, athletics club, robotics club, social service club etc. which conduct workshops and events in great number and we see lot of participation too.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes. There are around 15 hostels in the college. For first year students, we have to share one room with 2 other students meaning thouree students in a room. From second year onwards there's a room for 2 students. Hostels are old fashioned and ancient looking but the corridors and gardens, bathourooms are cleaned everyday and are well maintained. No additional charge is taken for hostels. It is included in mess fee of 24000 per annum.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Our alumni network is very strong as the institute has completed hundred years this year. We have many alumni working in different fields and who are also very responsive. They visit sometimes and interact with students in various sessions conducted by the institute. The seniors are also very helping and they are the true strength of the institute.

Admission :

First we had JEE Main exam and after qualifying it, we had JEE Advanced exam. JEE Main is conducted twice in a year by NTA. First one is in January while the second one is in April. JEE Advanced is conducted in May (Month end). After scoring well and getting a rank in JEE Advanced, we get admission based on the rank.

Faculty :

Some' faculties are really great. They are friendly and ever-helping. They are ready to help at any time, day or eve. They even give their addresses for taking personal doubts. Some are strict but at the same time essential. All the faculties are well equipped with knowledge and never fail to present themselves in the best way possible.

The Campus life

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is decent highest package was 30 lac per annum and average is 6-7 lac per annum....From 6th semester u are eligible for the campus placements.... companies that visited are- IBM, TCS,etc I just don't remember now there are many... percent of students getting placements are near about 80% i guess

Remarks:

The best part of this college is that it has an incubation centre which is governed by the DST government of India to promote new innovative ideas and mould the incubator to start there startup and became an entrepreneur.
