Remarks :

The only bad remark that comes to the college is the connectivity to the main roads by public transport. College is currently working on it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course that is being followed by the college is research-driven and completely based on the recent industrial needs. The curriculum and course are frequently changed in accordance to meet the placement requirement which helps the students to get in better companies.

Class Size : 150Course Fees : INR 180000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placement process of NMIT is very good. They keep training sessions for students to get through the interview environment. Many MNCs, IT companies visit the college for placement every year, namely Microsoft, Nutanix, Infosys, Wipro, ValueLabs etc.

College Events :

NMIT celebrates all festivals. Functions and meals are arranged for all the students and faculty. NMIT hosts a 3 day cultural and technical fest, ANAADAYANTA. The fest is grandly hosted and students from all colleges take part in the events that are held in the fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is a bit expensive for those who are staying in the hostel. Average annual tuition fees for B.E is around 1,80,000 for one year for COMED-K students and around 58,000 for CET students. Over this student staying in hostel have to pay 55,000 for a hostel.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I couldn't avail any scholarship as all the scholarship programs are mainly for and by the Karnataka govt.

Campus Life :

There are six Multidisciplinary Research Centers in the college. Center for Robotics and research, Space and Research, Nanomaterials and MEMS, Design Process and Simulations, Aerospace and IoT, Power Engineering. Along with these, there are many clubs for extracurricular activities. Sports facilities are also available for enthusiastic students.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities provided by the college is good as compared to other colleges. There are 6 hostels, 4 for boys and 2 for girls. All hostels are well equipped with drinking water coolers at all the floors. Wi-Fi is enabled for all the hostels. Security guards are there 24x7 in all the hostels.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network of the college is well connected and keep them updated about the latest activities going in and around the college.

Admission :

I took admission through COMED-K. NMIT admits student through entrance tests such as CET, COMED-K, PGCET, GATE, KMAT and students are also admitted under Management quota. I chose NMIT as it's among the top Colleges to pursue Engineering in Bangalore.

Faculty :

The faculty in the college are very helpful and friendly. You can approach them any time during the college hours to get your doubts clarified. Also, faculty give proper attention in classes while they are teaching, so that if any concept is not clear to anyone can be taught again.

placements during the current scenario are hard and they offer less perks highest goes to around for 20 lakhs for 2-3 students all others placed are around 3-7 lakhs mark students placed are around 50 percent there are companies like adobe and Capgemini comming to campus

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. From 3 rd year, students are eligible to sit in the placements. Most IT companies visit the college like Accenture, TCS, Amazon, cognizant, etc. Few core companies also came like Texas instruments, kpit, global foundries, Bosch, etc. The average package is 4.5 LPA and the highest is 22 LPA for my branch. 60% of people in my department got placement.

Honest truth of Rajarajeswari college of engineering

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the final year. A few companies visited when I was studying about 12-15 MNCs companies visited all were product-based and I think the highest package was 7.5 LPA. As the Corona pandemic started college was closed and companies didn't visit afterward. There is less number of companies visiting our college all are looking more for Cs graduates less or no EC core companies visit. I am planning to pursue M tech

Remarks:

It is positive. Candidates appearing in the 12th exams in 2019 can apply. Diploma candidates can also apply but only for admission in IITs. There is no minimum mark required to apply for JEE Main. Candidates have to secure 75% (65% for SC/ST) in 12th exams or be in top 20 percentile of the respective board.
