Nice College with nice crowd and good experience

OA

Remarks :

Overall the college is very good. The campus is large and attractive. The canteens operate since morning till late evening. However, the college authorities are stubborn.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is of 3 years divided into 6 semesters. Each semester has 6 months. Few subjects are research driven on ehich a dissertation has to be presented. There are some industrial visits too. There are close collaborations with NSIC and also some private entrepreneurship firms.

Placement Experience :

Placement is average. Maybe around 50%. Many companies have recently started visiting the campus and placements are getting increased and improved every passing year.

College Events :

There are departmental fests, sports days, college fests and several other business and corporate events round the year. These are organised with regular support of department amd the faculty members. However, the main management work is under the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee is too feasible. It is around Rs 7500 for a year. Hostel facilities are also available at an affordable cost. The hostels charge about 30000 rupees a year including both fooding and lodging expenses. The college fees can be paid both online and offline whereas the hostel fee has to be paid offline in the bank branch located inside the campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, But I did not avail it. College provides several scholarships both need-based and also merit-based.

Campus Life :

The Gender Ratio is fair. In some departments, girls exceed the number of boys while in some boys are way more. The engineering faculty has slight less number of girls. However there is No, discrimination on the basis of gender, economic status, caste or class.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, Seats are few and there is high competition for hostel seats. Student has to apply for the hostels separately and then has to undergo an interview. Points are alloted on the basis of previous qualified exams, distance, NCC member and several others.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very friendly and helpful and there is zero ragging. They are loving and caring. A good amount of support is sometimes recieved from the alumni.

Admission :

I wanted a get into corporate sector and build my career as a manager or CEO in some big corporate firm so I prepared for the entrance and cracked it. This is a central university which has a good reputation all round the world. The fee ia low and faculty & infrastructure is good.

Faculty :

Each subject is assigned to a lecturer properly guided under the subject association head super-guided under the Head of the Department. Almost all the faculty members have a P. hd. excluding a few who take the doubt clearing classes. Professors are available during open hours for all queries.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement in my college is pretty average as only some people get selected while companies come to recruit student who are in their final year. The average package offered to the students in here is around 4,00,000 to 5,00,000 and the highest package anyone has got is about 10,00,000. Meanwhile some people do not go for the campus recruitment as they want to pursue higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I decided for this course, because I'm from commerce stream and my goals for CA. So I decided to do a additional degree also. It's also helps me for CA preparation. I think teachering method is too good. Lecturers are also too helping nature behaviour with students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Due to my interest in Accountancy subject, I chose this course instead of B.Com program. Besides, this course provides more knowledge in real life than the program course. Subjects like accounting standards and SM have proven to be very important in the real life world. If someone has opted for B.Com Honors then according to the difficulty level, for normal student this is medium difficulty level, otherwise it varies from student to student

Our college does not provide placement but sometimes provides things like internship, the process of which is quite difficult and it is for 3rd year students only. No company visits me; no big company comes even for internship Neither is it a big nor an average package
