Remarks :
The college is really good and It can create your life. All that matters is learning and a student will have a lot to learn while studying in this institution
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is at par with the industry. The exam structure is outcome oriented, which makes you think /research in the subjects. They both are really fair. Each semester has its own important because there are different subjects which provide you complete knowledge of the branch and so you can emerge as a Technologists perfectly.
Placement Experience :
If I'll go on listing the companies, the list is going to be really long. Some of the major recruiters are ExxonMobil, Maruti Suzuki, Hero Motocorp, Saint Gobain, Asian paints and many more. Tentative package is about 6.7 lacs The whole information is about the on-campus placement only. 100% students get placed / get internship in every batch.
College Events :
Technical-cultural fest as Adhyaay, Sports fest as Aagaz are celebrated every year. They are really big and I have worked for them in marketing and publicity team. They both comprise of thouree days fun session for the students. Adhyaay brings in you thour best in terms of technical and cultural skills. There are various events under both the fest while in the night there is Celebrity event.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees structure of my program is really reasonable and feasible. It costs Rs. 1,32,000 per year with an increase of 10% for every next semester. There are no additional charges to be paid. College provides proper breakdown in the fees structure. Both online and cash payment is acceptable by the college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes, students have applied for government scholarship,i.e. UP government scholarship and government reimburse them a huge amount if the application of the student met the quality standards. For students of reserved category, about whole of the fees is returned. While for the general category half of the fee is returned every year.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is really good and enjoying, you Gender ratio is 2:8 (F:M) There are many clubs in the college which make them interested in the college time and cheers them up apart from studying. All students come from diverse backgrounds and there is a friendly atmosphere among them not any difference is considered by the students and they all are considered equal.
Hostel Facilities :
No,I didn't opt because I have the hometown in the same city. But In the hostel the facilities are fine being a government hostel and the total fees charged by the college for the hostel and mess is about 50000 per year. There are also various PG available for students nearby the college.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network is really very strong and they are always ready to help the students. There are Alumni Meets organized by the college every year so that the students and alumni can have a good interaction which is indeed very helpful to the students.
Admission :
I got the admission thourough the spot counseling procedure of the college. There are two types of counselling, one is merit based counseling while the other is spot counseling (spot counseling, mainly occurs when seats are left vacant after merit bases counseling). Merit counseling is mostly online while spot counseling is offline. HBTU is about to be 100 years old which makes it a prestigious institution as well as it has a very broad alumni network which is really very helpful. Being a government college it's fees is also quite affordable. I entered the college with Paint technology as my branch. The branch is really good if you're interested in chemical engineering and it has 100% placement guarantee reason being, that it is available in very lesser number of college across India.
Faculty :
Faculty is fine, not very excellent ofcourse. Most of them are old while the young faculty members are provided by NPIU (from TEQIP3, technical education quality improvement program phase 3). They all hold competent qualification but the student should be diligent enough in order to extract the best from them.
