Remarks :
It is one of the finest colleges in goa. It has a great teaching faculty and a good infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is credit-based. Each sem there are credits given to subjects. More the credits more the lectures and more the marks it has Every 50 marks have 2 credits. For science students they also have practices and then all marks are combined from is a practical and theory to pass from a given cutoff.
Placement Experience :
Companies like Infosys Wipro have come for placements as I've heard from my seniors and teachers. This is for a computer science course. I don't know what procedures are followed as I am still learning in the second year. Each department takes steps to prepare its students for the interviews.
College Events :
There are many events held in our college Intercollegiate and also inter-class. Clubs of each department and sports organize many events for students as well as colleges. Events such as euphegus kalakram mediascope exhibitions on many topics and many more.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is feasible for a middle man to afford. Prices are less compared to other colleges. The mode of payment is by NEFT to the college branch of the state bank or cheque in favor of the college. No additional fees are asked by the college except admission fee and id card fee.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No, I did not opt for any scholarship nor loan from college. It has scholarships for obc st sc students for a refund of fee. For students securing brilliant marks, I don't know about any scholarship for them. In my course fees are very less as 15000 to have any kind of scholarships for that.
Campus Life :
Students' gender ratio is about 55 45 boys girls respectively. There are many clubs as sports science English etc. And they have many competitions and events for the students. Such as competitions of making working models. Having debates in most of the language departments.
Hostel Facilities :
No there are no hostels for this college although you can opt for paying guests I don't know their price but it is safe People come from Afghanistan and ghambia to study in our college and they live in rented rooms.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, senior students are helpful. Overall it's a great learning environment Teachers are very friendly.
Admission :
I chose this course as I always loved working with computers and hardware. I chose this institute as it had electronics. It was online admission we had to fill form after which merit list was put up. And then those who were in the list were called for admission.
Faculty :
Faculty is really good in our college they have to pass SET in any subject for science. For the rest of the streams. But in science, you either need to clear SET or any other equivalent test. They are well qualified for the job they serve in my course.
