Remarks :
Overall college is good in terms of what is intended for. A little exposure to the atmosphere can be there following the atmosphere of IITs and NITs.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Engineering Course is an 8-semester course. The first two semesters include the basics of all engineering fields as a curriculum. In the next 5 semesters, major trade is taught in-depth. The 8th and final semester focuses mainly on practical exposure and spent in industry as a trainee and certification is observed. Industrial visits are arranged nearby and trade is relayed industry very often. Even now in the same institution has collaborated with some reputed industries in some setups where students start working as a trainee as some hours of their curriculum.
Placement Experience :
The placement record is fine. Electronics and computer science trades have exemplary placement records in previous years. Core trades such as Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering get placed well in core and also other sectors.
College Events :
On technical terms Annual, Technical Fest is organized with an average budget of 10 Lac. Shoes are totally organized by students under the supervision of mentors from the faculty. Cultural events include various dances, singing, competition, plays, etc. Many clubs are there such as Photography club, Literary clubs which keep on organizing their events on time to time basis.

The fee structure is transparent with breakup of hostel fees. No, any Additional fees were observed, except for the supplementary examination fee which was charged by HP University.

Campus Life :
The gender ratio of college was 50:50, except in the trade I studied. Where it was 99.9: 0.1 in terms of Male: Female. In terms of diversity, students from different states and social and demographic regions were a part of the student mass. No, biases were there based on the economic class, religion, and political and sexual orientation of the students.
Alumni/Alumna :
Not much, only the seniors you have been together in the college time are the contacts and source of guidance.
Admission :
Appeared in AIEEE. Appeared in counseling, got a seat in IEET College in engineering with Mechanical as major. Factors that made me chose this institution are listed below: 1. Ranked in top colleges in the H.P. state. 2. Distance from home town. 3. Location of the institute in the mid of industrial zone. 4. Previous year placement track.
Faculty :
The faculty is excellent. Many experienced professors including PhDs are in almost every engineering trade. Feedback-based review is taken from students on a regular basis. The average age is 40 to 45 with around approx 10 to 12 lecturers in each trade along with 6 to 8 lab assistants. Of course, many of the faculty hold industrial experience and are well aware of the current techniques and procedures followed in the industry due to frequent industrial visits arranged for students.
