The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Himachal Pradesh, (Baddi) popularly known as The ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh, (Baddi) has been established under the provision of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University (Establishment and Regulation) Act 2011 (Act No. 43 of 2011) passed by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh on June 17, 2011. The University is sponsored by The ICFAI Society - a not-for-profit educational society established in 1984.
ICFAI University Baddi, Himachal Pradesh is one of its 11 sponsored Universities, is a private university established under the provisions of the ICFAI University (Establishment & Regulation) Act-2011 (Act no. 43 of 2011) as assented by the Governor on 17th Oct. 2011, situated at Baddi, Solan, Himachal Pradesh.
Campus Infrastructure: The university campus is in the Educational Hub at Baddi. It has 2 lakhs sq. ft. a built-up area with academic blocks and classrooms with the latest audio-visual equipment. Programs Offered:
B.Tech Program
The University gives a 4 year or 8-semester full-time B.Tech program in some specializations such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
Eligibility:
10+2 passed out with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English as subjects, along with JEE (Main) 2020 or HPCET 2020 score.
B.Tech. (Lateral Entry) Program
ICFAI University Baddi also gives a chance to diploma holders in relevant fields to complete their technical degree in B.Tech program in various specializations such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The lateral entry program holds a 3 year or 6 semesters of duration with the eligibility of 3-year diploma in engineering in respective discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
BBA Program
A 3 year or 6 semester of duration BBA course is there in the university with the eligibility of 10+2 or equivalent in any discipline with an aggregate of 50% and above marks. Class XII students awaiting final year examination results are also eligible to apply.
B.Com Program
A 3 year or 6 semester of duration B.Com program is there in the university with the eligibility of 10+2 or equivalent in any discipline with an aggregate of 40% and above marks. Class XII students awaiting final year examination results are also eligible to apply.
B.Sc Program
With a duration of 3 years, a B.Sc. course is there within the campus for the students with the eligibility criteria of 10+2 pass out with PCM, with an aggregate of 50% and above marks. Class XII students awaiting final year examination results are also eligible to apply.
M.Com Program
A 2 year or 4-semester M.Com program is there at ICFAI University Baddi. An aspirant seeking admission to this course should be a passed out in graduation in commerce with 50% and above aggregate marks. Final year graduate students awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
M.Sc. Program
There is an M.Sc. Program at the university with a duration of 2 years or 4 semester in different specializations such as Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics with different eligibility criteria as the stream chosen as follows:
- M.Sc. Chemistry: Pass in B.Sc Med/Non-Med, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
- M.Sc. Physics: Pass in B.Sc (Non-Med), with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
- M.Sc. Mathematics: Pass in B.Sc (Non-Med), B.A with mathematics, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
Final year graduate students awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
PhD Program
The university also provides a 4 years research PhD program with eligibility criteria as follows:
- Two-year postgraduate degree with 60% or more or equivalent CGPA, over and above a four-year Undergraduate Degree along with UGC-NET / SLET qualification in respective discipline.
- Postgraduate students who do not have a four-year undergraduate degree will be required to undergo certain additional courses to cover the marginal deficiency.
ICFAI University Baddi Career & Placements:
Utmost importance is given to placement-related activities to ensure that all successful graduates receive suitable placements. In this context, the University is uniquely placed to leverage an industry-wide network, developed over a period of time.
As a part of its placement efforts, placement teams visit potential employers and consultants and apprise them of the level of knowledge and practical application skills acquired by the graduates in their respective areas of specialization. The profiles of the students seeking placement assistance are made available to prospective employers.
Placement meets and personality development workshops are organized as a part of the placement program. All the students are provided guidance in career planning as they progress to higher levels of the program.
The entire placement exercise is a joint effort between the University and the students. While the University provides guidance, support, and networking with potential employers, the students have the responsibility to put in the maximum possible efforts to obtain suitable placements. Placements depend upon not only the performance of student at degree level but also on previous academic record.

Hostel Facility:
A limited facility for accommodation is available near the University on the first-cum-first-serve basis. A well-equipped cafeteria has been established in the campus to cater to hostellers and day scholars. In addition, the University administration helps students to seek suitable accommodation.
Transportation Facility:
For students who wish to travel from city areas, the transportation facility will be arranged on payment basis. Details will be provided in the selection letter.

Admission:
Well, my father had received their call for admission. As my percentage was good enough for admission. On admission day we were late as the bus had taken a long route. But the staff member was good. He told us all situations of university properly without hiding anything. And the thing is that its fee structure is good and affordable which was also the main reason for taking admission in it. They provide scholarships on the basis of your percentage in school and you will get another scholarship if you score higher marks in ESEs. Although online sessions were very good. The offline is a Little bit exhaustive as activities are less than in online classes. But they have assured us about better activities like a moot court, debates etc. The Professors of law especially as I am a scholar pursuing a law degree, are very good and help every time. As if you are looking to get admission in ICFAI, HP. Then surely take it as in Law field it will not disappoint you. Hope you have a good day.
Fee Structure And Facilities:
The first year fees for MBA is 85,000 and for the second year it is 80,000 costing a total expenditure of 1,65,000 which is pretty much affordable as per the current standards for post graduation in competitive colleges.

There is no application fees, the admission fee is included in the semester fee only and you can check it out at ICFAI University Baddi courses & fees.
The first year fee is INR 85 thousand. The second year fee is INR 80 thousand. The total fee is INR 1.65 lacs.
