College management is good. You can be free inside college campus.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is based on Anna University syllabus since it is affiliated to Anna University. A new system called Choice based credit system is introduced. Lot of research projects are carried in our college like DRDO funded project. They indulge students in such projects by the way we can gain more knowledge.

Placement Experience :

For software related jobs our college has arranged lot of placement drives from MNCs like TCS, WIPRO, Amazon, Zoho, IBM, Accenture etc. For core companies in civil field the opportunity is less because civil companies like L&T, ECCI, Afcons didn't want freshers they only need experienced persons. So we have to work in small consultancy offices gain the experience and with that experience we can join in L&T.

College Events :

Every year they conduct Culturals in open air auditorium. Students possessing various talents like singing, dancing, mimicking participate to make the event enjoyable. Every department conduct technical symposium in which lot of technical events like workshops, Paper presentations will be held. Other than that international conferences will be conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees is feasible if you join in Govt counseling quota. If you join in Management quota you have to pay donation amount + fees for every year. All fees details will be given in admission time. There is Cub Bank situated inside our college. You can withdraw & pay fees using cash & cheque mode in bank itself.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am not eligible for scholarships. If you are eligible for scholarship you can directly go to office and enquire about scholarship for your course. They will give you a scholarship form filling it & attaching required documents to them they will credit scholarship amount to your bank account.

Campus Life :

There in no restrictions in our college. Certain departments are strict but once you gel with your staffs then there is no big issue. Girls & boys socialize themselves in campus & in canteens. you can roam freely inside the campus & in Canteens at any time nobody will ask you.

Hostel Facilities :

No I have stayed in nearby PG rooms since I am not able to afford hostel fees. There are lot of PG rooms available in & around college with reasonable pay. Per month rentals will be 3K if you share with 3 friends. For food there are lot of restaurants near by college.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Each department has records on passed out students. They have their contact number. They will conduct alumni meeting to know the details of the students who are placed in various companies.

Admission :

By writing Tancet exam I get admission in this college. I am very interested in pursuing M.E Structural engineering. Out of best colleges in Chennai I opted for Easwari Engineering College. Next to CEG, Easwari Engineering College has better lab facilities, R&D works going on & good staffs to guide you in Research & Project works.

Faculty :

Faculty in our college are highly trained and have a lot of experience in reaching. Some of them hold Doctorates and others are doing their Ph.D. All Lectures have practical experience which they share with students. They motivate us in our Project works by giving new ideas & techniques. They arrange technical conferences which will benefit students.

Placement Experience:

After the 2nd semester and starting 3rd-semester students become eligible for campus placement. There is lot of companies visited like Google Microsoft tcs Wipro HCL L&T Infosys dailyhunt. Approx. 99% of students are getting placement. My plan is to get a job.

My college experience

Placement Experience:

In M.Tech second semester onwards internships will come and in fourth-semester, full-time employment opportunities will come almost 100 companies will visit in a year like an abb, bosch, GE, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Alstom, Volvo, Invention, Analog Devices, Nokia etc. The Highest package is about 20 LPA and the lowest was 3.6 LPA about 95 percent of students were being placed. After getting the degree I'll go for my job.

In May we wrote the Entrance exam. And the mark is calculated based on the mark we score in the entrance exam and also the 12th standard marks taken in certain Percentage decided by the University Board. In one month they will announce the marks online or on the University Board. Then in a couple of days, counselling will happen.
