Remarks :

Puts their fullest effort to make sure everyone is placed. There is a snack centre which should be run by students only on rolling scheme. Not strict at all. Staffs are friendly. They treat us as matured adults and not students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Very updated sylabbus with practical examples. It is a course which involves your maximum effort and dedication. Not a course where you can just chill and pass. Need to put in lot of effort. Practical knowledge helps

Placement Experience :

We have a two month placement program at the end of 1st year. College brings in few companies for that. Not all companies give stipend. Internship is not just for name sake. You'll be alloted a mentor with weekly reports. At the end, a viva and poster presentation will be conducted. For placements, minimum package would be 40000 per month. Companies like Goldman Sachs, HCL, major banks, BNP, Amazon, Cognizant come

College Events :

Lot of events happen all the time. Week of wonders(WOW) is a very challenging event which lasts for a week to select the best Manger. Onam is celebrated, Pongal is celebrated, Diwali, annual day, Biztrac, many technical competitions. Events are given huge importance and are organized and conducted by students itself on a large scale

Fee Structure And Facilities :

If we go thourough CAT/MAT scores and interview, the fees is 10 lakhs. If we go thourough counseling, the fees is 4 lakhs. This fee includes a 14 day international trip cost (Rs. 110000) to Singapore and Malaysia.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

During admission process, a lot of banks will be invited and they will guide you for the education loans. If selected thourough counseling, a whooping 6 lakhs can be saved. Lot of government scholarships will also be informed or put up in the notice board

Campus Life :

Gender equality is very high. There is zero discrimination and we all mingle together. We are taken to a 2day trip to anaikatti once in a semester for ice breaking session. It has lot of games, dances and bonding activities. We are not allowed to wear leggings. Strictly formal except on Fridays

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel in timings is 6.30 for girls. We'll often be stuck up with group projects. So, suggesting to opt for private hostels nearby. There are many private hostels in walkable distance like Amuthasurabhi towers, Dwell Towers

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes. Alumni network is very strong. They guide and help us thouroughout the admission process, placement process, projects, internships, viva. WOWs is conducted by seniors to the juniors and that way bonding increases.

Admission :

Heard it's very practical and handled by experienced staffs. Wrote CAT, then had 3 rounds of interview including group discussion. Also, another process is by writing TANCET and getting in thourough counseling (limited seats)

Faculty :

They are the best one could ask for. In order to be a staff of particular subject, they should have practical experience in that field for atleast 5 years. Very talented and experienced staff. They strive to bring out the managers in us.

About my precious b-school environment and campus friendly surroundings.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd sem, they will be eligible for the campus placements. There are few companies visited and the no of companies offered were only 10 to 15 companies. And there are majorly banking sectors and IT sectors and departmental stores like reliance etc. And the package will be around 4-8 L approx. And the profiles offered are manager, accountant, sales, etc. The percentage of placements is 96-98%. And my plan after getting the degree, selecting the on-campus placement and selected for my job and then becoming my aim or achieving my goal in my life and then travel to my fullest.

An affordable institute- SIMS

Remarks:

My family had it's own business and being the only son, I wanted to be fully prepared before taking after my father. So, to prepare myself I decide to be fully educated and pursue my MBA from from a institute that isn't so far away from my home, hence I found SIMS, which was fairly close to my home and also had a decent reputation in term of education standards. I began the admission process by submitting the application form online through the official website by paying a minimum application fee.

Placement Experience:

I didn't care much about the placement scenario here as I just wanted to get a proper education to handle my family business but they do provide good placement opportunities and the placement cell of Sairam is one of the best according to my batchmates. The hiring companies where most of my friends were hired include Zoho, Inautix, Amazon, Wipro, TCS and much more!

Admission:

The requirement for the programme include graduation degree in any discipline from any recognized University with minimum of 50 per cent marks. A valid score in qualifying exam like CLAT or CAT or like exam. Online admission form should be filled and submitted attached with necessary documents. On the basis of scores obtained in the entrance exam admission will be granted.

Placement Experience:

A good college with decent Infrastructure

Admission:

Admission process was simple and direct. I was looking to pursue general MBA and I got to know about the executive MBA later. Only those candidates can apply for the executive MBA who have at least 2 years of relevant work experience.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities were limited but good. Generally there were pool placement process where a lot of companies would visit to recruit students. We got special preference in the placement process, on account of having a good work experience.
