Remarks :

The environment is nature-loving and non-teaching staff is also helpful. The girl's hostels rules and regulations are quite strict which needs to be flexible as it restricted their freedom to enjoy their hostel life apart from college timings.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Exams and labs are moderate, if we do a lab with interest and discipline then we didn't feel any type of pressure or anything else. same with exams. Yes, the focus on research mainly in theory is less but labs are research-oriented if you have an interest in it.

Placement Experience :

No. my college doesn't provide internships. If it provides, it is due to under some program and only for few students. Placements are not that much as it is a central university, not that many companies come here but yes time to time placement cells do their work, some companies come and provide jobs to the eligible students.

College Events :

Many festivals like faculty fest, interuniversity competition in the field of sports, knowledge, etc. Also, cultural festivals are mainly related to the university like Sir Syed day, etc. Many clubs like drama, music, etc also organize the fest and all.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible fee structure. It is affordable for almost everyone and if someone finds it hard to pay at one time, he or she can pay it in two installments also as per his or her convenience. My BSc fees were 6555 for 1st year, 3995 for 2nd, and 3995 for 3rd. My M.Sc first-year fees are 8000 around.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is neither type of loan facility nor any type of scholarship provided by college except one which is faculty-wise merit scholarship at the starting of the course. the amount paid to the students is not more than 200 rupees per month.

Campus Life :

There are different clubs for different sports and I think almost every indoor, as well as an outdoor game, is available. the membership in these clubs is either free or at a very less amount of fee. interested students can easily join these clubs. Also, there is time to time competition held in the university which increases the participation of students in extracurricular activities. The gender ratio is about 3:2 for boys and girls respectively. Although there are some disturbing elements are here but my personal experience is that I never feel any type of discrimination from any student and faculty members regarding my religion or on any other basis.

Alumni/Alumna :

Up to a bachelor's degree, there is not that much interaction with our seniors or alumni, mainly non-hostelers have negligible interaction with seniors. But in masters, there is the interaction between seniors n juniors and yes they are helpful.

Admission :

I took admission in BSc and then an MSc on the basis of the written entrance exam. M.Sc entrance consists of subjective as well as objective questions. Total marks are 200 out of which 10 subjective questions of 6 marks each and 70 objectives of 2 marks each. B.Sc entrance is fully objective consists of English, maths/biology, chemistry, physics. The admission process or counseling starts according to the rank or waiting list no. on a specific date.

Faculty :

Every type of teacher is present here. But most of them are too good in their respective field and also they know how to express and transfer the knowledge to the students. Most of the teachers are cooperative and disciplined.

Placement Experience:

I don't know about campus placements but no student is sitting idle since there are other prospects as well in which a student can pursue their work. Research and other government exams. Also it seems 100% placement is provided some students settle for lesser packages depending upon their merit credibility and needs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this because I have an interest in plants as they are the backbone of our mother earth. There are 80% of the students are female and the rest 20% are male in my faculty. In my faculty, 2 professors are from Oxford University and the rest are from LU. Term exams are scheduled after every 5 or 6 months which all are average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to pursue Toxicology because I did my graduation in Microbiology so I always wanted to opt for something that has great research scope. There are 25 seats in the Toxicology program but in my batch, we were only 9 students. There is enough facility to match the program detail. Every teacher has a different set of teaching methods so it depends on what method you like, I really liked how experienced professors use to take classes instead of on new teachers that focus mainly on how many pages you can write for a particular answer. But all teachers are super helpful and will help you in any matter, for me I was living in the hostel so they helped me in all ways. They have 2 internal exams and 1 final exam in each semester followed by 3 assignments and 1 seminar and practical exam. Each semester has 4 subjects so you will have 4 internal exams for each subject that will be of 15 marks, and final exams will be of 40 marks and 80 marks practical.

The placement section is not very good in the college, actually. They provide some internships. And they help us to prepare for placement sessions as how to give interviews and all. If you are a student of the college and have that spark then the placement cell takes

Placement Experience:

The Placements of my colleagues are very fine and make sure most of the students who sit for placements get through and place. Our department is visited by various pharma company like Asian paints, Dr reddy laboratory, jubilant life science limited, in 2018-2019 average placement offer approx 5 lakhs per annum. Approx 30%students selected through placement. Jubliant offers 5 to 7 posts. While Dr reddy laboratory offer 4 post and Asian paints offer 10 posts. Students which are in 4 th semester, participate in a college placement drive. My plane after Msc, I want to do a teaching job.

Remarks:

Amity is huge and great platform for many people. Some of them can really show their talents and can shine very well with all opportunities the college provide them. You can really adapt many good things from here. The only problem I feel is the hectic schedule of my course the time table is really exhausting.
