Remarks :

No negativity.life at nitr is a dream. Not everyone gets a chance here to be a grad. It teaches life for all students who are not sure about their career. The infrastructure is superb here. Fests are super cool.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum is so nice and I don't think so it needs changes. 1st year is open subjects related to all branches. Courses are limited to semester. There is also open elective where a student can take course of other branch. Exams are not that difficult to pass.

Placement Experience :

Yes. College helps in providing internships and also there is PPO program where interviews are carried out and selects by their merit. I placed in two companies when I'm in final year and I'm happy about the placements.

College Events :

Tech fest where technical events are conducted. Cultural fest where cultural events happens and it is named nitrutsav and also there ISM international students meet. Ethnic fest NRIs shows up here. Celebraty night also happens in all fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible when i studied. It is around 45k per sem. And there are 8 sems. I heard fee structure is totally changed now. It is expensive a now. I think fee should be reduced in nits and iits as there are government colleges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Loans are provided during joining process and it is very feasible as SBI bank is available inside the college. Faculty takes care of loans initially. Scholarships are not much great. There are less scholarships and it is more to reserved candidates.

Campus Life :

Student activity center is major in life of NITR. There are many clubs like maths club, robotics, raci g, photography, fashionista,. Students have a lot of opportunities to pursue their interest.

Alumni/Alumna :

I have not noticed that great about alumini. It is optional to be alumni. There are few groups and meetings happens as part of alumni meet. Some people are more involved in this. It helps very much.

Admission :

Got my admission in AIEEE counseling. Based on the entrance exam rank admission is provided. Student need to opt for branch and college in the overall NITs in India. Based on category and rank he will be allotted the admission.

Faculty :

Faculty is good. All profs are well knowledged persons. But all profs are not same. Some care about students and some don't.some are very happy to teach and some feel like job. Some prepare very difficult question paper.

Review regarding Nalanda Institute of Technology(NIT), Bhubaneswar

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

Students are available from 7th semester for their placements. This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Placement Experience:

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
