Remarks :
The NIRF ranking of the college speaks volumes about it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The institution follows the curriculum as set by the PCI i.e Pharmacy Council of India. It makes the students ready for the industry and provides them good grooming. The placements record is also quite satisfactory- companies like Lupin, GSK, Glenmark, Cipla, Merck, etc
Placement Experience :
Tentatively 100% of students get placement every year (except if the students wish to continue their education and opt otherwise).
College Events :
Annual event- Isthmus(corporate fest) and Urjja(cultural fest) [2 days] It’s a grand event conducted by the students of SPPSPTM NGO/Social Responsibility Forum- Kshamta which conducts several workshops, seminars and food donation drives for the underprivileged
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The college provides complete transparency in the fee breakdown. It is slightly on the higher side but it is definitely worth it considering the quality of education and infrastructure provided to the students by the institution including WiFi, air-conditioned classrooms, auditorium, pilot plant, well-equipped laboratories with instruments like HPLC, spectrophotometer, etc
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I did not opt for any scholarships or education loans. However, is any of the applicants are interested they can contact the counselors.
Campus Life :
The campus is full of positivity and no ragging takes place. The college also has a lot of diversity and there’s no racial discrimination. The gender ratio is an almost equal number of girls and boys. There is no violence in the campus premises and it’s a no-smoking zone.
Alumni/Alumna :
NMIMS SPPSPTM Alumni has an association that’s connected via LinkedIn and other networking platforms. Alumni are very helpful and the students have interactive sessions with them every now and then.
Admission :
For normal BPharm course, CET (Common Entrance Test- conducted by the state government) marks are considered and for MBA course NPAT (conducted by NMIMS) marks are considered. NPAT is an aptitude test for admission into the BPharm+MBA course, which is a 5-year integrated course.
Faculty :
There are minimum 45 lectures and 15 tutorials per subject and minimum 15 practicals. There are around 6 subjects. The institution follows a semester pattern as stated by the PCI. The faculty’s is highly qualified and helpful and most of them are PhDs and PDFs.
