Remarks :

The infrastructure is not too good, but as said, "nothing is best but you can get better". It is improving day by day. But the amiable nature of faculty and seniors is irrefutably amazing. Also the decorum is maintained, although seniors are amiable, there is no incidence of hooliganism, because we are a family.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is pretty lucid. I got admission when this college was autonomous so the curriculum was old and boring. But it is now again under AKTU and so the curriculum has been revised. This revised course is pretty luring and intimidating.

Placement Experience :

The placements are pretty good with students placed in companies like Global Logic, TATA consultancy service, Amazon, MediaTek etc. The packages are not too luring if compared to IITs, NITs. Also, the placement ratio is not too good as compared to various private colleges, but they sure have greater packages than those.

College Events :

The National Tech fast called "Effulgence" comes biennially and is a small scale event with footfalls near about 3000. But the small number of footfall surely never discourage the participants. The National Sports fest called "Tvaran" comes biennially and is a slightly bigger event with average footfall coming near 4500. Various outdoor, as well as indoor sports, are played with great enthusiasm. The National Cultural fest called "Anubhuti" comes biennially and is the greatest event with an average footfall coming approximately 7000. A 5-day event with various celebrities coming each day is an awesome experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is pretty feasible, with academic fee approximately 55k and hostel fees being 10k and the mess charges approximately 30k. People eligible for scholarship get scholarships without any hindrance, and this shrugs most of the economic burden. Also students get scholarship on the basis of their merits.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The scholarship is provided by the Uttar Pradesh government. It shrugs off most of the economic burden. Scholarships are based on the earnings of the family as well as the merit of the student. There are also seats whose academic fees have been waived off.

Campus Life :

The labs are pretty amazing especially the labs of Computer science engineering Department and Information Technology Department. While other departments labs are not so extraordinary but are suffice enough to make a student learn. There are various societies enrolling new volunteers and indulging in various activities to make students grow. Politics is also debated calmly.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are shared by 2 or 3 students. There are suffice rooms to accommodate all the students. Also, hostels provide you with facilities of WIFI, potable water on all floors and also clean toilets. The hostels are spacious owing to the large area occupied by the college. 9 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls are present.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network is pretty strong. Seniors are also amiable and thus one gets required help during the course. Alumni intermittently donate money to the institute since many times funds get hindered in the bureaucratic process so in order to help out students, alumni do reach out. Also a alumni meet is organised every year so that students get to know about more and more alumni and can ease out their path to prosperity.

Admission :

The admission process is too simple, just clear UPSEE with a good rank. It is a nice choice if you are living in Uttar Pradesh and your parents don't want to let you go far away. A state-run renowned institute occupying approximately 100 acres of land.

Faculty :

The faculty is pretty amiable. They will surely guide you through tough times academically. Many of the faculty members have been directors of various colleges and thus have far more experience. Also KNIT falls under TEQIP-III thus, new recruits are also present, although they are a bit less experienced but, they are knowledgeable.

To get admission in this college, one must have to clear joint entrance exam that is conducted by CBSE in the month of march-april every year.after that this college has own counselling process so students have to go through .
