Remarks :

College have worst management system for anything. Just like when we fill scholarship form, for 2min. Work they refuse us for 2 days that is Bonafide certificate. Also extra money charges when we fill University form. Teachers are supprtive and also encourage students to spend time with the teachers who lives better experience of life.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course is very complicated. Many subjects have different types of syllabus which doesn't interlinked to each other. Labs are good. few machines doesn't work properly. The course is focused only production of engineers. Not focused on research.

Placement Experience :

I am second year student and i have no idea about placements and job opportunities. But many seniors got job in good companies with suitable sallary. Placement cell every month organized. There are many internship in our college.

College Events :

Esperanza:- fresher's party organised by 2nd year students for new bathces. Genesis:- this is technical event which celebrated according to the super seniors. Civil society:- the programme for civil branch students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For middle class family it may be expansive because now a day scholarship given by government is very low. Even semester fee= 33,750 Odd semester fee= 35,250 Starting admission fee= 10,000 If extra activities not included then it is not expensive.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

E-kalyan scholarship which given by state government but now it lesser than our seniors. Scholarship is not enough to spend properly for fee of college who belongs to poor family. I didn't heard about the loan offered by the college but it may be offered.

Campus Life :

Yoga classes which had taken only on 1st semester and never. Lab works are more interesting. Workshop is good area for new invention ideas. Political issues are very rare in our college. Sports are very bad,no any game played properly.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel infrastructure is good but rooms are very poor. Two students in a room which is not comfortable for each other because room is very small. Water and light facilities are very good. Toilet room is good but not properly. Hostel charges are too costly. Mess charges added of vacations which is not good even included the summer vacation mess charge.

External Expense : Rs. 2000 - Rs. 4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very helpful. They always support us for technical events and also for studies even we tell for help. They gave us information about the college and the the teachers who teaches good and gives us suggestions to how to work smartly.

Admission :

First i written JEE mains exam. By this you get admission to the college but i choose another way that is Jharkhand combined entrance competitive exam. After a long process of councelling i registered for the college with specific branch. Then i reached college admission cell where i have to spend 4 year of engineering. There required 10th,12th marksheet which is original and migration certificate and also councelling letter of admission. After submission of fee they gave me slip and it's all over.

Faculty :

Teachers are good in teaching except few of them. Classroom teaching is very good. Students can raise their questions in the classroom and also outside the classroom. Lab assistant are worst teaching quality. When we asking them questions they didn't give the answer properly.

Students become eligible after the third year for the placement there are many companies which visited the colleges like TCS, Tata companies, students getting 85% all are getting well placed and the average package of the students is 7 lakh per annum.

AMITY - A perfect path providers for the tech beginners

Placement Experience:

As a student of the 4th year program, one can be eligible for placements after 6th sem or by passing 3rd year and after 4th sem/2nd year, students of 3rd year program are eligible for placement processes. almost 150 companies had visited this year and around 500 students are placed in many companies like cognizant, byjus, TCS, Deloitte etc. maximum package offered is 11 LPA and the average package is around 3.5-4 LPA. on a personal note, I want to pursue MTech after BTech, so for me, these placement record somehow not matters but if someone wants to go for higher studies, this college is best suited for them as because it provides all necessary things by which you can easily get into top IIITs.

There is a good campus selection students are eligible to give the interview for the replacement before the final examination students get an average package of 3.5 lakh. After getting the degree students to get up to a good placement.

Honest Review of BIT Sindri through a BITian

Placement Experience:

In BIT Sindri, placements are good. In my college students are eligible from 3rd year to sit on-campus placement. They can also go for internships from the first year itself. Around 50+ companies visited in the year 2020. This is a little bit less due to covid 19. Some of the companies that visit regularly are Tata Steel, Vedanta, Aditya Birla group, TCS, TCS digital, Ericsson, etc. Highest package is 13 lakhs p.a being offered by Tata steel and the average package is around 6 lakhs p.a. Here around 50 to 60 percent of students are placed each year. In 2024 I will get my degree. My future plans are that I will give GATE exam. I want to be in under 100 rank so that I could get a job in PSUs or get MTech admission in IITs.

Remarks:

Faculty is good and the course curriculum is also good.every possible help is provided by the college.Teaching quality and lab are all good.One thing bad is that we don't have our own permanent campus. The college is running in 3 diffrent rented buildings.
