College experience

College is situated in a rural area where you can avail only daily get to go things. The nearest city is talcher which is also kind of sub urban area. So fancy City stuff cannot be availed here. Incase of any such desire students travel to Bhubaneswar which around 4 hours via train or bus

I won't say that it is awesome but it os pretty good course structure considering its government funded college. Its fees are quite less and teaching standard is average. Exams and labs were not very tedious.

Placement scenario is kind of bad here. Though you will get a software job in an mnc paying around 25000/- in hand on campus but getting high packages on campus placement will be a dream cone true. College doesn't provide any internship. Internship can been done at various organizations and college attests it.

Technical festival Horizon Annual sports festival Film festival Cultural festival Fun fair Grand welcome Branch welcome Youth festival Model United Nations Farewell Alumni meet And the list goes on. Technical and sports festival are quite big and attract all major colleges in India.

Its very much feasible since it is government college. Also you might receive scholarship Cafas. The tution fee is around 15000/- per semester and hostel fees around 12000/- per semester. Every B.tech course is 8 semester. Students can opt gor hostels or stay on their own accommodation.

College doesn't offer any scholarship. Though the Department of higher education of odisha offers scholarship to meretorious students through CAFAS which is 10000 per year till 4 years of degree. Loans can be availed at all major banks in the form of students loan. The college has a State bank of India inside its campus which is also an open option.

Extracurricular activities are quite awesome. Regular sports events are hosted between all batches. Also the annual sports fest is conducted in which different colleges compete. Gender ratio is taken care since government has 33 per cent reservation for girls

Hostels are quite cheap since these are government sponsored. Well the condition of hostels is not good since most of them are quite old and need renovation. Some of the new constructed hostels are good.

Alumni network is quite good an helpful. Frequent alumni meets are conducted and students can interact with alumni and take the best out of them. I have had a good experience interacting with all the alumni during my college days.

I had major interest in Electrical motors and always wondered how power is getting generated and drives our whole world, hence took Electrical Engineering at Igit sarang. I went through odisha joint entrance examination and secured a good rank enough to make into this course.

Faculty of the college is average. Some of the faculty is very good but mostly you need to make it on your own here. Students can get very familiar with the faculty which will help them in future. In my experience i had an average experience not bad not good.
