Remarks :

The college ranks in top 10 within the country. The placements are too good and the academics too. Your peer are the top brains of the country so you get to learn a lot. The only cons is the old infrastructute.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course in frankly speaking hectic. There are classes from 8 am to 12 noon thereafter 1:30 to 5:30. You have labs on 3 days in a week. There are 8 semester distributed in 4 years. A semester is of around 4 months in which there is a mid semester and an end semester exam.

Placement Experience :

The placements are one of the best in the country. Big multinational firms like google, microsoft, uber, oracle and newer firms to like zomato, phonepe, dream11 etc hire from here. Around 200 companies visit the campus in an year.

College Events :

Kashiyatra (Cultural fest), Technex (Annual technical fest) and Spardha (sports fest) are the major college fests. They are a large number of participation from different colleges. There are musical pronites too.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

If your family income is above 5 lacs per annum then you will have to pay about 108000 tution fee for a single semester which is expensive. Family income 1lac to 5 lacs then a third of the earlier mentioned amount ie around 40000 tution fee. For family income below 1 lac it is between 6000 to 7000 tution fee. Apart from the tution fee you have to pay 12000 mess fee that is same for all students irrespective of their family income.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are scholarships that are awarded on the basis of your social status as well as performance based. Thers is a branch of the State Bank of India in the campus itself from where you can easily avail a loan without collateral.

Campus Life :

The girl to boys ratio is meagre. The government has provoded reservation to girls ever after that there is 1 girl per 4 or 5 boys. The gymkhana provides ample opportunities for extracurriculars. There are inter hostel, inter branch compitition held on a regular basis. There are a large number of clubs such as robotics club, aeromodelling club, atronomy club, drama club, music club etc where you can carry on your interests.

Hostel Facilities :

Opting for hostel is compulsory. You don't have other choice. Infrastructure is good and facilities too. The hostel fee is included in the tution fee itself. You are charged for meals. The amount is 24000 annualy.

External Expense : Rs. 2000 - Rs. 4000

Alumni/Alumna :

There is a vast network of alumni as the college is more than 100 years old. All of them are at very good places and they are always ready to help for your internships, placements etc. There is a student alumni interaction cell to have a healthy relation with the alumni.

Admission :

Firstly u have to qualify for JEE Mains exam that occurs 2 times firstly in january and then in April. The best of the 2 attempt in counted. After that you have to sit for JEE Advanced and in that you must secure a rank under 10000 in order to get in any of the IITs.

Faculty :

The faculty is quite good. All of them have persued their degree from prestigious colleges around the globe. Their teaching style is good but sometimes you will not be able to get as what they are saying will bounce off your head.

The Campus life

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is decent highest package was 30 lac per annum and average is 6-7 lac per annum....From 6th semester u are eligible for the campus placements.... companies that visited are- IBM, TCS,etc I just don't remember now there are many... percent of students getting placements are near about 80% i guess

Placement Experience:

The placement is very good in my college. From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra etc do visit my college. The highest package is 16 lacs per annum and the average package is 4 lacs per annum. 95 % of students of the batch get placement every year. My plan is to get a placement in a product-based company after completing my degree.

Best college for developing startup skills

Remarks:

The best part of this college is that it has an incubation centre which is governed by the DST government of India to promote new innovative ideas and mould the incubator to start there startup and became an entrepreneur.

Admission:

I always want to become a mechanical engineer because innovation and technology attracts me. This college focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship Development skill and this is the main reason to select this college. Entrance Preview:
