Udai Sai Krishna's Review On Institute Of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition - [IHMH ], Hyderabad

Remarks :

Overall all the ihms are best for hotel management, if you are interested in hotel sector this college acts as a stepping stone tsunami of hotel industry. If you are thinking it so easy and I can easily pass your are abousletly wrong.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course is done in three years divided in six semesters, each semester will have core subjects such as ao, front office, fand b, food production, the course is on chill side, there is no need of doing heavy work

Placement Experience :

Placements are very good at ihm few will be placed as mt s, and remaining all be selected reputed hotel chains, and even fast food chains such as kfc, dominos hire here. , my overall experience is good and it's not that much of hell

College Events :

Food fest held every year where students are encouraged to open there stalls and sell food items, flower arrangement competition, sankranti and onam celebrations, annual sports meet is conducted every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

We have to pay every semester individually first semester 60,000 rupees second semester 47000,third semester 60,000,fourth semester 45,000,fivth and sixth follows the same as second year. And extra one lakh for hostel fees

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Government provides loans and scholar ship to sc and st and other back ward castes, the college doesn't provide any scholarship on its own, government will pay back enter year fees to the back ward cates even pay for hostel fees.

Campus Life :

There is no much ragging in our campus, everyone is friendly, mostly students come from all over India, the gender ratio is around 2:1, it has a basketball court and badminton court, gym for daily body building.

Alumni/Alumna :

Students here in ihm are very well mannered except a few, freshers might face small problems but nothing so serious, seniors help us to grow in this sector, there are no ragging issues in the campus.

Admission :

You have to apply through NCHMCT and write an entrance exam which is usually conducted in April, eligibility criteria below 21years and 12th pass, after counseling you will get a seat in the college

Faculty :

Mostly of the faculty are good and had teaching experience around ten years, many of them are passed outside from the same college, each batch will be alloted to a faculty member who checks your attendance.

Placement Experience:

When it comes to the important year of placement, students from the very beginning of 3rd year become eligible. A lot of companies will start coming from the 1st month itself. At my times we got the opportunity for appearing in the companies like Oberoi, Green park, the park, Faasos in the 1st month itself and almost each and every student get placed at the end of the final year.
