Remarks :

The only negative remark i would give about my college is that i felt like i was again joining a school after 12th boards because of the tight and frequent exam schedule etc. But overall i enjoyed my graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Exam structure is very well balanced and course is predefined. They usually have three sessional exams andain exam at the end of the semester. Last semester of each course is about training, no schooling.

Placement Experience :

In my course of chemical engineering, the companies or industries which came for placement are. RIL, GNFC, UOP Honeywell, DCM shriram, GSFC, GFL, Infosys, Nirma industries, Deccan fine chemicals ltd. , Jubilant life sciences, L&T, Tata chemicals etc.

College Events :

DDU organizes a tech fest mostly in furst week march called Feliciphic. In this fest lots of technical amd cultural activities are done. Lots of students from our institute as well as from all over the state participates in this fest. Other than this we have spandan social group, who organizes awareness programs, blood Donation camps etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Since my admission was done in government quota the tution fees was only 5000 INR + other expenses like library, laboratory etc. It is around 9000 INR per year. For NRI or self finance quotas they have different fee structure than us.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are 2-3 scholarships schemes from alumni organization and Government that I'm aware of but not in detail. One of the schemes includes compititions and stuff. One of schemes is about cheap price Textbooks from library.

Campus Life :

The laboratory and library facilities are quite good. They have a huge play ground and sports complex. They organize different sports compititions during sports week and sometimes during tech-fest week.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, i opted for boys hostel. which is run by DDU. It is near to the college. The infrastructure is good and rules regulations are very strict. you will feel safe. The 24 hr cantin, TV room, mess are very good. Even the hostel management organizes different events based on festivals and occasions. The fee structure is same as what it should be.

External Expense : Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Oh yes, the alumni of our institute are very much supportive. They have some scholarships schemes for poor students and they run library. Some of the schemes includes prizes for toppers of semester, cheap price Notebooks, scholarship schemes etc.

Admission :

Admission done based on JEE score and board exams. Based on this merit rank was decided bu state education board. We had to choose 5 colleges and courses respectively and then based on merit rank we were allocated. This whole procedure was online. My merit Rank was 2789 and i was allocated in DDU chemical. There are total three rounds for admission.

Faculty :

I would say the faculty is very good. They are really supportive and very well knowledged. They are easy to approach if you have any doubts and i found them very friendly. Some of the faculty members are very well known industrial personality and they share their knowledge and experience with everyone.

Placement:- they are asking that parul provide 100% placement but I don't think so they can Because there are currently 6000 students persuing computer science and place all of them is not possible As per parul the average package is 700000 And as per me average package is 400000

From the 7th semester, students are eligible to sit in the interview process. there are many international companies are visiting every year like Amazon, Samsung, Oracle, Deutsch bank, etc. For every branch, different companies are visiting and have different percentages of students getting placements.

My engineering life is better and easy

Remarks:

The college has been working towards the development of the society by producing talented minds. It has medical facility available inside the campus. Overall I am satisfied after graduating from this college.

Admission:

We have fill the application form on the website. It needs the score of an entrance examination conducted by the Gujarat government or the JEE mains score. I got shortlisted in the merit list and was offered a seat.
