Remarks :
No negative remarks i m very much okay with the services and infrastructure. Overall great college, great infrastructure, great atmosphere, a bit in outskirts but that provides you healthy atmosphere.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My particular course contains four years. It needs some facilities which includes computer lab, hardware lab, AR/VR lab etc. This college has all of that. Great college as services wise also the study atmosphere is great. Exam structure is kind of like they take 2 internal exams and one external exam. First internal exam is taken after a month or two after the starting of the semester and second internal os taken after a month or two of first internal. Portion of that depends on how have been the course completion. Further then second internal an external practical-viva examination is there in which every student have to appear. After completion of the practical exam, 2 weeks break is given to the students for reading purpose. And then exam is conducted. After external examination there's a break of 10-14 days and then next semester is started.
Placement Experience :
Placements are very good around here. Almost every student get placed if he or she has good knowledge about the technology and many much countries come here for the placement interviews. They provide good amount of package at initial level of job.
College Events :
Spoural- Annual function Sports week Cognizance- Technical festival Dj night Vrund- garba night Spoural is celebrated as annual function in which every department takes part in the competition. Different competition are there like dance, mime, skit, fashion show, mehndi, video making,college making, etc. Cognizance is basically a technical festival of engineering student in which students from different colleges takes part. Its duration of 2 days and at the end of the second day there is DJ night.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
At my time the fees for a single sem was 56,000. You also have to pay for the library cards. You'll get 5 cards and you have to pay 5000 for it and also you have to pay exam fees for that particular sem which is 2000 rupees.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No i haven't been known about it. Though you have an option of Mysy if you are general category student. And if you fall under any reserved category then you will have other scholarship which you have to ask to you nearby govt. Office.
Campus Life :
They are extremely great. Because they do have big ground for cricket. They do have football ground, volleyball court, basketball court, handball ground, also indoor games like table-tennis,carrom, badminton, chess etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I had opted hostel(Ohm Hostel) for first 2 years and the facilities were good and the food was better in compared to other hostel nearby. Hostel includes your food of two times and a breakfast. The room contain 3 bed which other two will be you roommate.
Alumni/Alumna :
They do have a contact in their junior students. And some of them are being called for their experience sometimes if they have settled in good company. And for advice to what to do further. And also don't worry about ragging of any of the related stuff. This kind of things doesn't happen here in this college so be free about that. Though they help you fill up a form of anti ragging, if you have an issue then you can complain there.
Admission :
I got my admission through merit list after 12th. You can also join after diploma. So after your 12 results you have to fill the form of ACPC which creates the merit list for Gujarat state students which includes you board scores and JEE main score. After filling the form the merit list will be declared and after that you have to apply for the college by enlisting them in your way and giving preference to your choice of colleges. So in the first round you will be allocated a college seat in which you got your admission. If you got your desired college then you can go to that college and you can take the seat and register you name in that particular college. Before this admission process you have to pay 20,000 rs(during my admission in 2016) to ACPC which will send this money to your college as a confirmation of the seat. As you take part in this merti list you have to pay it in dena bank and you will get receipt of it which you have to take care of because your receipt will be asked in the college during admission. So in first round you got your desired college then its great but if not then you can wait till second round of the ACPC then you might get admission in the desired college. After second round most of the colleges are started. And just for that round my opinion is to take that particular college if not also your desired college because if you wait for third round and did not got in your desired college you might not want to lose the seat you got in the first place. So take the admission and then apply for third round if desired college hasn't in you luck. Third round is the last round. So this was the process of the merit list and my college has some admission process as after getting the college in second round you have to physically go to the college and register yourself in the particular course you chose in the ACPC form. And there you will be guided properly. You will be required the documents which are important and of course the receipt. Take passport size photos with you as backup but they click the photos by themselves only. Take someone elder than you for this work.
Faculty :
Faculties are very helpful in every way. They clear our doubts in that very moment and also after the lecture if the student asks. They explain every topic in vast way and also asks for the confirmation is the students understood or not. Faculties aee very friendly. You won't have a dear to talk to them they are veey humble to every student.
