Remarks :
Overall, I am satisfied for what I am getting from my college. Also the life here is best as I interacted with very intellectual teachers here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our institute is afflicted to GTU, so we follow it's well structured course curriculum. Yes, the course is relevant. In first year we learn one subject of every engineering branch and hence we can get all round exposure to engineering. From 2nd year, we have branch specific syllabus. All important core subjects are taught in an very interesting manner. Also we can get to solve some real life problems in lab sessions. So we can get some kinda industry type exposure in projects too that we make in respective course.
Placement Experience :
The placement at our college is very fantastic. Many companies visit our campus every year Some of them are : TCS Byju's Zomato Crest Datasystems and many more. The general recruitment process followed by them is like, First aptitude test is taken along with MCQs related to core subjects. Then coding round is conducted to further shortlist the students. Then hr round is conducted for the final hiring. The placement rate of our college is around 85 % every academic year.
College Events :
We have many different societies in our college : Like IEEE, ISTE, Computer society of India etc. Many tech and non tech are conducted every year. Also cultural fest is arranged every year after our Grand techfest "IMAZE". The participants is of around 4-5 k students from ours' and other colleges.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fees is ?1.19 lac/year Yes it's worth it. There are no additional charge for securing admission. Yes the college provides transparency in fee-breakdown. The accepted mode of payment are Cheque/DD or e payment by NEFT or UPI. Thus all kinds of transparency are maintained in all monetary matters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No, I haven't opted for any scholarship program. But many different type of scholarship are available for all kind of needy people. So it's in betterment of all.
Campus Life :
College infrastructure is absolutely fantastic for academics, well equipped upto date labs and classrooms. There are various cultural societies in our college like: IEEE ISTE Computer Society of India and many more. Students of different regions of our state are found here. Also some students from Ethiopia country also come to study here. The sex ratio in our dept is like around 7:1(boy:girl) Economically all students are from well background. All students have their own political interests which doesn't harm any national interest and so the decorum is maintained in out college.
Hostel Facilities :
No, I am a localite. So I haven't opted for Hostel. But the facilities provided in hostel are very well. We have a different reading room to. The rooms are very well ventilated and in proper condition. The food provided is also upto the mark.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, the seniors and alumni are very helpful. They help us in every possible manner. They just try to make the best out of our hidden skills. Also our department arranges online webinar for interaction with online Alumni so that we can get some great exposure of real life.
Admission :
I was very much interested in the course of computer engineering. Also this college was achievable with my merit rank. The whole admission process was taken care by ACPC, Gujarat. First merit ranks were given to each student and 3 Round of choice filling were done. Final round was conducted offline.
Faculty :
There are around 3 to 4 lectures of 1 hr of each core subject per week. We also have a 2hr lab session for every subject per week. In subject like Discrete mathematics, we have tutorial sessions apart from lectures. The faculty here are knowledgeable and they help us in all possible way. Their expertise makes our learning more better.
