Remarks :

I loved this college. Any student can study in this college because the fees are affordable and the location of the college is very prime, and the college and hostel is very close. Just it doesn't have big campus because of the prime location.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is quite interesting, the first two years are about basic legal knowledge and the history of legal field from pre independence to post independence how our legal system is involved we get to learn. Teaching faculty is great so it is kinda chill atmosphere in our college. The exam pattern is a semester pattern of 100 marks written tests and no internal or external marks.

Placement Experience :

Yes the placements are good, they also provide internships. Any GLCian can get internship in well known law firm by just telling them that am a GLCian. Graduate outcomes include prestigious scholarships including the Rhodes, placements in noted law firms, banks, regulatory institutions, in-house positions for corporations, Big-4 auditing companies, public service undertakings, the higher civil services, NGOs etc.

College Events :

GLC has been encouraging activities like Moot Courts, debates, essay competitions and other activities which help improving the legal knowledge and the oratory and literary skills of the aspiring candidates. Moot court competitions have been a regular feature since 1936. The student committees also encourage sports, music, dance and drama.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees structure are quite good and very affordable, it is only 360rs for the reserved category and 6000 for the aided admission of open category. There are also non-aided classes in government law college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Government law college provides scholarships to meritorious students. Special awards such as the Ranganathrao Trophy, the Yashwant Dalal Cup for Overall Excellence, the Diwan Jotimal Chuganee Trophy and the B. M. Vardhan’s Trophy for best Debater/Elocutionist are instituted for the overall development of students. I don't have any idea about the loans availability.

Hostel Facilities :

GLC do not have its own hostel but it has some reserved seats for economically weak students in Government Colleges hostel Churchgate, and I think it is one of the best hostel in our country because I am living in hostel, they give one room for one student, hostel has its own gym, library, mess, canteen, tennis court,T. V hall etc and the rent is also affordable,it is only 5000 per semester.

Admission :

I am a science background student, I was also selected for BSC Agriculture in govt college of parbhani, but I wanted to achieve something in the legal field so I gave law entrance to take admission in government law college, mumbai. GLC Mumbai is one of the leading educational institutions in our country so I prepared for entrance and got selected for admission.

Faculty :

The faculty of our college is great, some teachers are pretty well known in India so we are lucky to have them. We have some teachers who wrote books for university syllabus so its kinda easy to understand them and they are very cool.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers all the relevant subjects of law. One can pursue advocacy in either civil or criminal side as the course covers both the topics very well. The teaching method is from books and by using power point presentation. The exams are held on a timely basis and are medium to hard in difficulty level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for teaches us the knowledge required to be a part of the law fraternity. But the actual applicability of the syllabus can be seen as different from what is taught in the curriculum. Practical knowledge of what is taught needs to be done

After 8th semester students become eligible for the placements. Basically it is the field of skill set. If one has that skills of a good lawyer he or she must be settled anyhow. Around 60 percent student gets placed evey year. The highest package is of around 10 lakhs and average if of 3 to 4 lakhs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course 8/10 aa course is highly good for me and i chose this field because of the respect it have our curriculum is good only as first 2 years we have BLS subjects then we have law subjects after that. As it is an integrated course it surely serves the purpose and makes you ready for real-life field only but as we have 75-25 pattern it gets hard to write that much in the examination in that much hour also we have to prepare for internals alot then assignment costs alot of time and make the whole study schedule hectic
