College campus is a bit old school type, not the modern feel you get in other engineering colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview :
College is an autonomous college hence Exams are conducted under BATU. There are two unit tests and a single semester exam in each semester of 6 months. Exams are conducted within college only and mode is handwritten. the curriculum is practical oriented and fully focuses on making the student's industry-ready. That's why most of the students get easily place in prominent companies. Industrial visits are part of academics hence about 3-4 industrial visit is carried out.
Placement Experience :
TCS, Hexaware,slk, cognizant, hind rectifier, Maurya industries, synergy green, Kpit. General steps for recruitment process are 1. Online aptitude test 2. technical interview/ group discussion/any other round 3. HR interview this process varies from industry to industry step 1,3 are most common. Student must pass with 60+ percentage. Institute does take steps to prepare the students by organizing guest lectures and sessions regarding placements.
College Events :
Meraki:- gathering Pioneer;- Technical event competition. Abhigyan:- lectures by achievers. And many other events for boosting the thinking capability of students. Alumnis are also invited sometimes for guiding students to right path. Students can also participate events organized by other colleges.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
a fee is around 90000 per year you can pay it in installments. Scholarships EBC is applicable. No additional charges are required unless you are taking admission through management quota. College does provide transparency in fee breakdown. Mode of payment:- Cash, cheque, neft/rtgs.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Every year students have to fill scholarship forms to avail of the benefits provided by the government. Some get 100% fee concession while some get 50%
Campus Life :
Campus life is nice as most of the local students are taking admission. Gender ratio depends upon the branch you've taken admission. All the students are friendly in nature. Extracurricular activities are also provided. Competition is organized by each department.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni and seniors are very helpful and they help in academics as well as in other events. They also help with the study material.
Admission :
I have been admitted to this college on the basis of the MH CET score. As I am of SC caste cutoff is a bit less and choosing this college because already this college has achieved a milestone in our district, jobs and placements are quite well and i have chosen mechanical engineering because it is a core branch and there are a lot of doorways for further studies as well as for jobs.
Faculty :
The mechanical engineering department consist of about 25-30 faculty. Most of the teachers are in between 40-50 age, few are 50 above and as well as some of them are in between 30-40. most of the lecturers are Ph.D. holder and some of them are pursuing. About 80% of lecturers have industry experience.
