Course Curriculum Overview :

In this degree there are total 8 semesters There are two ways to teach this course first one is theoretical and second one is practical and during the course both are impemented. In each semester first conditional exam was taken then the student who fulfills this criteria will eligible for final exams

Placement Experience :

My last year of college experience is the icici bank placement but it is not relevant to our study Last year internship is visit to villages for discussing farmers problem regarding agriculture, mushroom cultivations, plant protection and quarantine stations but only as a training purpose

College Events :

Khalsa college is famous for year around festivals but there are numerous festivals celebrated in this college like teej,plant fest, book fair last but not the least kisan mela which is relevant to our subject in which knowledge is provided to the farmers about new reseaches and the problems and their solutions were discussed

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible First semester-35000 Second semester-15000 Third semester -28000 Fourth semester-14000 Fifth semester- 25000 Sixth semester- 11000 Seventh semester- 20000 Eigth semester - 11000 But this may vary for year to year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships are provided to the meritorious students as well as for minority students and also for schedule casts. If you are a College Topper then you will get a 50% scholarship and if you are a University Topper then you get 100% scholarship

Campus Life :

Students take part in numerous activities in College like National cadet corps(NCC) National service scheme(NSS) Gurmat Sangeet Pratyogita Raunk Cultural fest Kavishri program Science fest Kisan mela

Alumni/Alumna :

i had a very enjoyable experience at khalsa college.It was more of a learning experience though.To interact with such a wide variety of highly skiled and motivated seniors is itself a learning experience.To see them excelling in the plethora of domain is awe inspiring.

Admission :

Beause this course is unique from other courses and student got graduated from this course will get more placement options than any other and very few student opt for this couse so there is less competition between student when they compete for jobs

Faculty :

Qualified staff teaches students about different subjects during the entire course and they are well trained about every aspects of the subject and topic wise. Both students as well as teachers are keen interested in research in different perspective during entire course

Is LPU that Lovely?

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placements from their final year and should have passed all the subjects. Companies visited are ITC, Adani Wilmar, dhanuka, some startups Highest package offered for the current session was 8lpa to 4 students where the average pay is 3.6 lpa Due to low pay most of the students turn down the job offer and goes on pursuing higher studies. So far, from what I have experienced is that there is cut throat competition in the placements.

Good in campus environment

Remarks:

After i entered , it was heaven seriously speaking from a small town LPU life for me is no less than a dream life. So here are some DO's and DONTs LPU :- Alwaysintain 75% attendance otherwise you won't be allowed to give your end term examination. 2. Don't get carried away with the crowd , you won't be able to come back to real life. 3. Be as simple as possible so that distractions doesn't over come your focus . 4. Join various Organisations. Here at LPU we have more that 50 Student running organisations , take initiative and be a part in any of these. 5. Weekly , there will be functions , or something or the other so that Students inside the campus are not board , so enjoy them . 6. As i have mentioned before , be choosey to select your friends world is not good my dear . 7. Yes , LPU have more than 3000 CCTVs and security guards are present within 100mt of range , so if you feel anything uncomfortable or someone is trying to disturb or something like that take there help. Security people are really very good.
