Course Curriculum Overview :
Course syllabus was okay-ish. It was not updated recently, so some of the elements were outdated. But overall the curriculum was pretty thorough, covering the entirety of our bachelor's program. Exams are held twice a year.
Placement Experience :
Placements are good but not great. Some good companies like coca-cola, team lease visit our campus for placement drive but the numbers are not good here. Apart from that, the packages offered also have a scope of improvement.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
One year fee at CIT was around 1 lakh. I paid more than 4 lakhs as course fee for the entire four year program. Though the fee structure is at par with other institutes in the region, but it was a little expensive for me, personally.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarships are offered to the meritorious students. Our institute is very supportive for the students belonging to a minor category. In fact, the CIT has been established for the basic objective of fulfilling the aspirations of the Bodo People.
Campus Life :
We had many research seminars and workshops, which were organised in order to aid the learning of students. The research seminars features presentation of research papers from different domains. Labs were held at regular intervals and they helped us in bridging the gap between the theoretical learning and their practical applications.
Admission :
Admissions are on the basis of entrance exams like JEE or CITDEE. Students have to apply by filling out the details of previous academic performance and entrance exam scores. On the basis of this information, a merit list is prepared and the students are invited to the counseling.
Faculty :
Faculty was good and supportive. Most of them had a relevant amount of teaching experience and good domain knowledge. Though some of them were relatively new, they all were good in general. The method of teaching was unique.
