Course Curriculum Overview
The BA (Hons) English is one of the oldest courses in the college. The course curriculum is designed in a way that benefits students immensely. The course aims to provide both theoretical training coupled with practical exposure via various workshops and seminars on Literature. The course curriculum imparts knowledge in the literature on languages, histories, cultures and other civilizations.It is 3 years Bachelors's full-time course which has three divisions Part -1, Part - 2, Part -3. For each of these parts you will have to sit for an annual test that happens yearly. Part 1 exam happens by May at the year-end and includes - 2 hons/Major papers, Elective Subjects and Compulsory English. Part 2 exam happens April and includes 2 Hons/Major Papers along with Elective Subjects. Finally, Part 3 includes 4 Hons/Major Papers along with Environmental Studies and happens by March.
Placement Experience
The final placement is decent in this college for all the courses. The range is between 1,50,000 to 2,00,000 per anum. There is also internship opportunities in the final year where you can get practical exposure which will prepare you for the future.

The list of events - 1) Fresher Welcome Party 2) Cultural programs like Saraswati and Lakshmi Puja. 3) Annual Fest Insignia which occurs at Rabindra Sarobar Auditorium or Birla Mandir 4) Auditorium. 5) Various corporate social initiatives related to Public Health and Welfare.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Yes, the fee structure is absolutely feasible and affordable. The BA (Hons) English course will pinch you about 2,000 INR per year. Yes, it provides transparency in fee -breakdown. Attendance is compulsory 75 %. But in case you miss to hit the mark then, Rs. 200 will be charged as fine.

No, I did not opt for any scholarship or loan. The college does not have any scholarship program as such as of now.
Campus Life
The college boasts of fantastic infrastructures, like labs, libraries, in campus Bank ATMs and a lovely playground. A beautiful lake is present beside the campus and during the lecture breaks one can hangout by the lakeside. The college also maintains a balance in gender ratio. It empowers Woman Education and education for all. apart from that annual fests, quarterly workshops and study tours to other colleges and universities will enhance your overall learning experience.

The Alumni network is very good in Sarsuna College. Even, during my admission, the seniors were very supportive and helpful. They understood my interest and requirements and accordingly gave me suggestions on the various courses.
Admission
BA (Hons) English is a course that not only improves your English but also prepares you to take that big leap forward towards private as well as government jobs. The college was 9 years old in the education industry when I enrolled. Already it was rapidly growing with its robust infrastructure and imparting quality education. The steps are simple : 1) I had to apply online from www.sarsunacollege.ac.in. 2) After that post submission of the form, a challan was generated which I submitted to ICICI Bank. 3) The form is accepted post receiving payment intimation from Bank. 4) Post declaration of First Merit List, there was no counseling or Interview as such and the admission process completed in a hassle-free manner.
Faculty
The faculty for Ba (Hons) English has loads of teaching experience and are alumni from prestigious universities like Jadavpur, JNU and St. Xavier's. So, you can expect a quality education here. Also, post-lecture they will help you with your issues in additional classes. One good thing about college is their faculties are easily approachable and you can look up to understand a subject better.
