Remarks :

Since the college is being run by the christian fathers they gave us the lesson of discipline in our life. Some of us can see it as a positive remark while some can see it as a negativeone. I dont see anything else.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculam is now improved under ktu. The exam structure also changed. Semesterwise exams are being conducted. The inernal marking system is one of the best qualities of the exam structure.

Placement Experience :

Well in the case of placements and job oppurtunities there is an active placements cell working on the college. But then again i dont think it is that much effective. They are failing to offer core jobs to students.

College Events :

There were various programmes conducted in the college although the college is still in its early stages. Various programmes conducted are sparks, sports, jhalak etc. There is also tour celebration for the third years.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is a bit complicated. It is feasible for the backward cast students eventhough if they dont deserve so. For general students the fee is a bit expensive if they dont have higher ranks in entrans exams.

Fees and Financial Aid :

There are various scholarship available for students based on their cast from the government. The college also offers many scholarships and loan facilities to students from backward cast and students who comes from low income families.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities are a bit less comparing to other institutes, may be its because the institution is being controlled and run by the christian sabha. But sport meets were conducted during my days. And good quality labs are also available.

Hostel Facilities :

I didnt opted for the hostel during my studies i was a day scholar. But from my hosteler friends i heard that the hostel is a betterone. With good facilities and good responcilbilities from the management team.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Well since we were the first and senior batch of my college the alumni is only just started. And i dont think we could be of any help to the students for a long time until we become stabilized in our carrier.

Admission :

Merit seat under kerala government. Through keam exam. Full merit seat as well as nri seats are also available. Keam rank determines the fee that must be paid. For sc st students a very low fee structure is available.

Faculty :

The faculty in the college are the best. They are very supportive with students and are very friendly. There is a faculty rating system for the students which one of the best things. Any problems with them can be expressed.

The placement will be available from 6th semester onwards. Companies in techno park are mostly coming for placement in our collage. The average lpa is 2 and highest is like 10. CUSAT Cochin campus- best college life you can get in kerala

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

My College Life at FISAT

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.
