Remarks :

It is one of the oldest college of North india and best NIT of North India. First college in India to Open Computer Science Branch in 1976.Placements are good here, healthy and ragging free canpus. Hostels are equipped with high speed wifis.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum of Computer Science and Information Technology are almost same here. Exam are conducted twice in one semester. One is 20 marks midsem and other is 60 marks endsem. 20 marks is internal which is given by professor on considering various procedures.

Placement Experience :

Placement in IT and as weel as core are best here. Everyone in Cs/It/Ece get placed in big companies with handsome package of above 12lakh. College also provide internship opportunities for 3rd year students. Almost everyone companies coming for internship give stipend of more than ?40000 for 45-60 days summer internship.

College Events :

There are various technical ,cultural and sports events organized in college in a session. 1. Avishkar is annual technical fest of college, in which more than 20 colleges participate including IITS and NITS. 2. Culrav is annual cultural event which is organized in april. It lasts up to 5days along with participation of different colleges, Bands and celebrities. 3. Josh- it is an annual sports events.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is based on MHRD norms for income wise. There are broadly three categories available. 1-Annual Family income upto 1lakh and all sc/st candidates. No tution fee. Only hostel/mess fee and nominal other college charges. 2- Annual family income (1-5) lakh. 1/3 of tution fee+mess/hostel fee. 3- Annual family income (greater than 5 lakh.) Tution fee+mess/hostel fee. College fee is feasible

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I haven't taken any loan and scholarship. But various private organization and state government gives scholarship on the basis of income and grades. Like UP government is giving Up scholarship. Along with it there are various schemes by central and state government for loan. College is giving scholarship to top 3 candidates of the college.

Campus Life :

Sports and athletics are good here. College team goes for various inter nit and iits competition. They had won several medals and trophies. Zymkhana is equipped with all the necessary tools. Coaches for different sports are there which help students in practice and keeping there physique maintain.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are good here. There is one seperate hostel for 1st years. Seperate hostel for girls. There are 4 hostels for seniors. All the hostel consists of mess attached. Every hostel comprises with basic facilities like common room, canteens etc.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very helpful. College is very much old, so alumni network is strong. Various alumni are in well settled positions in MNC'S and government sectors. Alumni are very helpful and carrying. Soumya pandey (IAs) is alumni from this college.

Admission :

I gave Jee mains (IIT-JEE) Entrance exam in 2018. I got rank under 8000 in that exam. In the month of june through Josaa counselling i got admission in this college. In the counselling process choice of branch and colleges should be listed in preference wise. So according to that eligible candidates got colleges.

Faculty :

Faculty are good here, almost everyone had done Phd. They are quite helpful and supporting. All the other assistant and TA are also good, they are generally handling the various labs and tutorial, sports coaches are also good here.

The Campus life

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is decent highest package was 30 lac per annum and average is 6-7 lac per annum....From 6th semester u are eligible for the campus placements.... companies that visited are- IBM, TCS,etc I just don't remember now there are many... percent of students getting placements are near about 80% i guess

Placement Experience:

The placement is very good in my college. From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra etc do visit my college. The highest package is 16 lacs per annum and the average package is 4 lacs per annum. 95 % of students of the batch get placement every year. My plan is to get a placement in a product-based company after completing my degree.

Best college for developing startup skills

Remarks:

The best part of this college is that it has an incubation centre which is governed by the DST government of India to promote new innovative ideas and mould the incubator to start there startup and became an entrepreneur.

I always want to become a mechanical engineer because innovation and technology attracts me. Entrance Preview:
