Remarks :

I would like to say that my college is the best when it comes to offer opportunities to students. Its just that the student should be smart enough to capitalise on the same as soon as they see one. Rest assured he/she will do good if they are dedicated to become a good lawyer in the future.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure is really designed as per the student and its good and we have semester ending exams twice a year and during our free time we are allowed to participate in various debates, moot court competitions in and out the college and we also get ample time to gain physical experience outside the college by interning.

Placement Experience :

The placement cell of our college is really doing a great job and keep posting the job and internship opportunities on behalf of the college to provide students with a step ahead and my personal experience of internship has been really good and I've been lucky enough to get paid for 2 out of 3 internships which i have completed till now.

College Events :

Government law college is known to be the most active law school when it comes to events and committees which are present in the college. In the college we have many intra, state and national and international level competitions which are organised every year and we also have a annual cultural fest which happens every year. Some of the active committees are Model United Nation(MUN), Debating society, Moot court association, SPIL.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is as subsidized as it can be. Being a government college we have to pay a very nominal amount as our fees. Which can be easily afforded by the person aiming to join the college. Fees for general category non aided is -12000 (approx) per year. Fees for general category aided 5500 (approx) per year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I have personally not availed any scholarships from the college which the college has to offer. There are many scholarship schemes which are offered to the under privileged candidates for the swift completion of their courses namely. Govt scholarship offered by Government of Maharashtra, nivedita nathany scholarship by the college itself etc.

Campus Life :

There are many extra curricular activities which are organised in the college by several committees which are active in the college. We have many debating competitions, MUN's, moot courts, several intra cultural events and competitions being organised regularly with full dedication of the committee members.

Hostel Facilities :

I stay in rented flat in colaba so i do not have any idea about the hostel. There are many of my friends who stay in the rented flats near the college for Ex- Marine lines, colaba, lower parel. Etc. I would suggest you to go for the same as if you go and share a particular flat with someone it tends to fall in your budget.

Alumni/Alumna :

GLC, Mumbai is famous for its alumni network and this is why advocates and many firms in and around bombay prefer to give a job to students of GLC. The alumni base of our college is really strong, being the oldest law college of asia. This is one of the advantage which we have which gives the edge to the students of GLC mumbai in this competitive field.

Admission :

I had appeared for the Maharashtra common entrance test (Law) Indira store there was a list which had our merit list numbers based on that we got a option form to fill according to our choice of college and then we got alloted the colleges based on merit of the CET law exam and then we reported to the college alloted and secured our admission by doing the needful.

Faculty :

The faculty of the college includes some really distinguished professors and even the visiting faculty is pretty good but sometimes we don't have regular lectures due to the scarcity of professors. Prof Daswani and Prof pithawalla is one of the distinguished professor on the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers all the relevant subjects of law. One can pursue advocacy in either civil or criminal side as the course covers both the topics very well. The teaching method is from books and by using power point presentation. The exams are held on a timely basis and are medium to hard in difficulty level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for teaches us the knowledge required to be a part of the law fraternity. But the actual applicability of the syllabus can be seen as different from what is taught in the curriculum. Practical knowledge of what is taught needs to be done

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course 8/10 aa course is highly good for me and i chose this field because of the respect it have our curriculum is good only as first 2 years we have BLS subjects then we have law subjects after that. As it is an integrated course it surely serves the purpose and makes you ready for real-life field only but as we have 75-25 pattern it gets hard to write that much in the examination in that much hour also we have to prepare for internals alot then assignment costs alot of time and make the whole study schedule hectic
