Remarks :

Some processes could be faster, e.g. registration for exams.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was very happy with the teaching staff, friendly and determined - a good mix of people from the practical field and social scientists. Relatively many assignments to do, yet it is very encouraging to find own research topics, which made it very beneficial for me.

Placement Experience :

I cannot say much as I organized my internships on my own and did not require the help of the University for this.

College Events :

There were speeches and workshops with people from abroad, e.g. artists, filmmakers and scientists which gives people a good exposure to global aspects. Further, I was taking part in several cultural events taking place on the campus and outside, e.g. Festivals, hiking tours etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I cannot really say much about the fee structure, if it is okay for Indian standards or not. Some of my classmates used to stay on campus in a hostel and were quite happy with it, however, this would not have been an option for me. For international Standards, the fees are fine.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No, I did not opt for anything like this. I know that there are awards and scholarships, but I did not try.

Campus Life :

There are more men than women and most students are from South Asia or African countries, few from other Asian countries. Faculty members, however, are relatively international, some from U.S., Canada, Turkey etc. I cannot say much about economic Status but as to my experience, most are from quite good Backgrounds.

Alumni/Alumna :

I met a few senior students but taken that the university is very young, there is not a big network yet.

Admission :

the admission went relatively fast, even though I had a foreign degree/needed copies of every degree, internship etc. I had done so far. Overall, I was quite happy with the process. However, the visa process is tough (in general the case for India, which is quite annoying).

Faculty :

As stated above, I found the mix of science and practical work very valuable. Further, there are many events on the campus, e.g. famous scientists from India and abroad have been invited to give lectures, as well as important people from the practical field. Entrepreneurship and own research was encouraged.
