Remarks :

Our college is so student friendly. They provide their maximum support to mould our individual skills in sports, academics, arts, etc. There are clubs for each and every skills like music club, dance club, drama club, sports club etc.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is a very intresting and highly applicable course which have a large job oppertunities in the electronically developing world. Our 4 year B.TECH course have eight semesters having eight exams. In each semester there two series exams with a gap of one month.

Placement Experience :

There are a lot of companies which came to our college for recruiting students who study in the final year. In the present year more than 340 students placed till now. There is no internship schemes in our college.

College Events :

We celebrate a number of events in our college. Among them the biggest is Hestia, which is one of the biggest cultural and tech fest in SouthIndia. Other major events are film fest, department inagurations,sports meets etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Our college have only government fees structure and it is feasible. And also there are a lot of scholorships for economically backward students. For management students they have to pay additional fees in the admission time.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our college provide a scholorship called Means Cum Merrit (MCM) for economically backward students. It is a good scheme for the needy students who have the goal to complete engineering in a good college.

Campus Life :

The labs provided by the college are having most modern i struments and machines. Our college support sports at its peak level. Games are more concentrated than athletics. Football is the major event of our college. We became two champions of the university and we are the current runners up. There are a lot of extracurricular activities like NSS, IEEE, ISTE etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, I have opted for hostel. Our hostel services are very good. Hostel provides badminton court,table tennis, volleyball court, gym, etc. for an affordable fees. There is a dividing mess system in which students choos the mess menu and the total monthly cost is divided into each student.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Our college is an anti-ragging campus. Ragging is strictly prohibitted. And therefore, seniors are very friendly to their juniors. Our alumini network is doing so many things for the college and students like scholorships,activities etc. Lots of events like reunions, programmes, functions are conducted by them. They are also contributing funds for the events conducted in the college by students like Hestia, film fest etc.

Admission :

I got admission in my college by entrance examination. There is an entrance examination for all students in kerala together. Based on the entrance rank, a student can get admission in the desired college by the process of allotment. I choose my college and got admission in the desired stream.

Faculty :

Very open minded individuals. They work for studends interest. Teaches everything with a practical application and method of teaching is very nice. The college assign two particular faculties for a branch as senior advisors from first year to fourth year.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
