Remarks :
Every colleges has pros and cons. One of the negative feedback that I would like to provide that is we have a water crisis and it is a little problematic.Other than that everything else is top notch.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It is one of the most growing courses and has lots of opportunities in various fields like FRONT OFFICE , FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES, FOOD PRODUCTION , HOUSEKEEPING etc. The college conducts semester wise exams.
Placement Experience :
Yes, our college provides internships (Industrial Training) for all the students. Every IHM provides students IT during their 2nd year (3rd semester for summer batch and 4th semester for the winter batch students). The stipend varies company to company or hotel to hotel.
College Events :
Various events are held in our college like Diwali Nights, Bihu, Freshers (for 1st years), Holi etc. Many other events are also held in our college and many exhibitions and projects are done over the 3years.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is feasible. It changes per year. The fee structure is submitted each semester and the hostel every 6 months along with mess cost , which provides breakfast and lunch (Saturday-Sunday) and dinner (Monday-Friday).
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Various policies are available and students can avail it. The college has various banks associated so that the students can easily take loan. They help the students in every way possible and the college helps them too.
Campus Life :
Every Saturday or Sunday morning our college is cleaned by all the students (Hosteliers). Swaach Bharat movement is part of our life. We have various labs for every department. Sports are played in the college campus.
Alumni/Alumna :
The senior students guides us and helps us in every possible way. They try to make our base of studies easier. The senior students maintains the decorom of college as well as hostel and try to be a good example.
Admission :
I gave an NCHMCT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION and scored 8933 and I got the opportunity to study in IHM Guwahati. After all the selection round , we need to report to the assigned college for document verification and a physical report is also necessary. After your physical verification you'll get the hostel and you can start your classes.
Faculty :
The facilities are really good and very helpful. They guide us in every way possible. New faculties have joined our college and are trying their best to help us and guide us and are very kind. Our faculties are trying their best to make our college to the top.
